Which is located what part of the state.

South central about a half -- south of Madison and you went to school where point 20 Miami university in Ohio.

Bob -- back in 1995.

Fresh set of -- -- thousand -- start his political career as say congressional staffer but before he went to Washington.

Reiman -- Joseph -- Craig high school here and change bill.

So let's just teachers think of -- back in the 1980s.

We caught up with Bryant AP government teacher Sam -- so.

Allies it was if it isn't great this great student ever ever any trouble.

Hall now I have never had a center Ryan and it bombed the whole plan to the office.

My 34 years a teaching has sent one kid but when we don't need to talk about that any stand -- -- well you could tell that -- was I'm motivated individual back then and he had ambition and you do that is gonna get involved in some type of service.

You know from freshman year on -- -- -- student council commitment and clubs and activities that -- high school it was a long list from Latin club history club.

You know let's get a dance together was and that committee homecoming king in payment he was involved.

-- -- -- reference it Debbie says it clad in the class president something one year that he was also voted as a from Korea well.

-- -- -- Oh let's put it this way -- is a nice kid come up Q I don't wanna see -- schmoozing mirror and they had to commit sincere thought he said he like you know you just run with that so.

Over the years and stay in touch -- -- yeah.

That and in fact I know that they have here I'm so that he did he read on the -- in the congressional record.

-- -- When congressman Ryan ran in 98 and has as a freshman yet to speak and the house floor during a national education week.

Activity and -- nice enough to single me out in a -- on the house floor as being someone that influence him.

Granted it's not on his economics or how he votes but we had a great time and our government class back in the eighties and through my retirement 2009.

So it was one those things were.

Kids appreciated listening to other kids that have different opinions and everyone had a chance to voice their opinion and I think that's one of the nicest things that I have going with congressman Ryan is that we don't see the same way.

Politics but yet we're good friends we can agree to disagree which I think unfortunately has been lost in the last few years and in our government to -- -- No I have not voted for him and the house elections.

And I had to have to be as a voted for a few independents because.

At the time my and think the democratic candidate was a better choice than congressman Ryan so.

Eighteen million -- phone -- I think he knows that.

He had a but not -- -- it does right now.

I think he knows my politics and tell what you he he's a nice enough guy that he would come back and meet with my kids in class.

And how much more can you ask for as a government teacher to have your congressmen.

Come here class and talk to thirty kids at a time and do that 45 times and today the same with senator Feingold who's another Craig -- 1971 grad and he would come back and what a great.

Time to be a government teacher in Janesville.

To have two elected officials come back and talk to kids and say you know you -- do to.

-- you considering voting for him on the vice presidential ticket or motive for the rally take gravity right taken.

I hate to say this but I won't be -- -- forum.

I'll be voting for President Obama and Joseph Biden again -- I think the biggest thing is is education for me.

When represented -- come talk about issues in class.

I would bring up something about education and of course his his candor response and and that a logical one would be.

That that's a local matter and and I would come back with an -- -- -- -- antagonize an apprentice is gonna say is it's a local matter but when you say they gonna pay for early special education.

Mandates at 60% annually give fifteen really puts a crimp on -- the local people with a budget.

Do you think that Paul I have an influence on -- Wisconsin vote overall I would I would think so but I.

I look at how polarized estate is and I don't know if anyone's really gonna jump across that I'll just because Paul Ryan is now on the ticket.

You like him a lot -- -- back.

He's been fantastic.

My family's been fantastic to all students I've taken out to DC for trips over the years.
