Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario Molina and -- fox inching weather center with your forecast for the southeast.

And today it will be a very typical summer day across the southeast we're expecting widespread temperatures into the upper eighties.

Or even low ninety's for most of us 94 over in Savannah Georgia and 92 when Fort Myers and also in Orlando Florida a little warmer over in Jackson Mississippi.

We should see -- high temperature this afternoon -- 95 degrees as we had northbound 83 for an old not 87 over in the city of Saint Louis.

And it's Holstein 97 degrees in Shreveport in Louisiana.

Now we are gonna see showers and storms today -- in some parts of northern Georgia Atlanta you can be seeing some delays -- Hartsfield airport with some strong storms rolling on through.

And most of that activity is gonna continue to linger across parts of the southeast -- early Wednesday morning across eastern parts of the Carolinas northern Florida and then back into portions.

The plains -- like eastern parts of Oklahoma and Texas and then as we head into basically Thursday morning.

Most of the showers moving pretty light across parts of Missouri down into Tennessee and -- Mississippi and Alabama.

Expect -- -- generally -- warning from Virginia on the way down -- also -- Of Georgia have a great day everyone I'm meteorologist -- -- me now from the fox extreme weather center.
