Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the -- sixteen weather center with your forecast for.

The southern plains as well as the southwest and today's going to be another toasty -- out across the seat of -- is very typical for the month of August.

Triple digits in Dallas San Antonio and also in mainland Texas.

-- -- and Louisiana we're also expecting a pretty warm day out 97 for your high temperature in the city of Shreveport.

And heading northbound -- northbound not as bad it's been lately Oklahoma City expecting high temperature and all 87 degrees and the reason why not gonna be so bad is that we have some much needed rain rolling Tennessee.

Of Kansas and also through Oklahoma -- welcome that rainfall otherwise across the desert southwest and fortunately another scorcher won twelve.

For -- high temperature in Phoenix in Arizona a 108 degrees in -- city of Las Vegas and Tucson also expecting a hot dame with a high temperature at a 140 -- Very warm out across California as well with Los Angeles expecting high temperature at eighty degrees.

-- ninety's across most of the state of Colorado so here's a look at that rainfall that's falling across state of Kansas in -- and some showers making down into the Oklahoma panhandle much.

Welcome good news out here because we've just been in that ongoing -- for months already across parts.

Other central plains as we -- -- -- just generally some light showers across the Rockies.

But during the afternoon hours very typical for this time of the year you should see some heavier spots.

Firing up as far as of showers and storms go bind 9 AM Wednesday morning pretty quiet -- out across the Rockies.

And we're gonna see some more widespread areas of rain from Arkansas on down into Louisiana.

And then by Thursday morning you're gonna have a pretty strong cold front swing through parts of the plain states here and -- behind that system across.

Northern areas have been dropping temperatures otherwise have that system a rise in temperatures.

More humidity and also some scattered showers out from Louisiana up into Arkansas and the four corners region so pretty quiet there's -- morning -- more showers and storms.
