Live pictures what we're gonna real clear picture what don't they said it -- Republicans voted for.
Look at what they value to look at their budget and what they're -- Romney wants to let that he said the first hundred days he's the what the big banks once again write their own rules.
On.
Staying.
Wall Street.
They're gonna put you all back in shaves.
When your reaction today to those remarks by vice president Joseph Biden at a campaign event in Virginia yesterday.
That included hundreds of African Americans.
The vice president raising eyebrows by using that chains.
Analogy.
Apparently in reference to the GOP ticket.
Critics say those comments subtly suggest disturbing images of slavery in a southern states they also raise questions about whether mr.
Biden gets -- -- Unfairly.
When it comes to controversial comments to me now Ron Christie.
There's a former senior advisor to president George W.
Bush and author of black words.
And Republican congressman Tim Scott.
A South Carolina who is an advisor for governor Mitt Romney -- -- let me start with you because Mitt Romney came out.
And suggested today he's had enough of this he says it's it's bringing the the office -- the White House.
To a new low.
And told told President Obama to to take it -- that this is what an angry and desperate presidency.
Looks like.
Suggesting these are wild and reckless accusations that disgraced the office of the presidency and it's not the first time.
Is Mitt Romney finally fighting back against this.
Absolutely -- should be -- were outrageous comments -- -- simply plays to the same narrative of Obama administration which is simply.
Divide and conquer -- -- in division these divisive comments from.
Vice President Biden are not new comments they are simply amplifying.
What he has said previously in different -- Different frames but at the end of the day it's still the same thing -- division.
It is the lowest common denominator that divides Americans and it fans the flames of a cultural war that is unnecessary.
And -- for the future of America.
Ron you know the vice president said he meant it -- say unshackled which is a term that's been used by the opposing ticket as well and you kinda tried to dial those back although.
It's Stephanie Cutter who speaks for the Obama campaigns that we stand by the remarks we have no problem with that whatsoever.
It and it is this is there -- -- isn't relevant here not race at passing the vice president is race racist but is there or an inappropriate reference.
In those comments.
Good afternoon Megan yes I think -- -- as you know it's not just that he said what he said yesterday is the manner in which he said it.
He was talking and he had a normal cadence and then in front of an African American audience for at least 5050 or so.
He starts preaching like he's at the pulpit on Sunday as of all African Americans are gonna relate to being in church when they hear from a white politician.
It's a demeaning and degrading and an insulting manner and -- the vice president acted and having served for both the Vice President Cheney and President Bush I can tell you.
This is beneath the dignity of the office of which Vice President Biden holds.
But let me let me try to defend the vice president says as we don't have such a person on the panel right now.
You -- it's demeaning insulting could it could it arguably be didn't endearing you know Joseph Biden be -- -- he made these comments you know.
He's kind of like everybody's uncle he -- says things that are inappropriate sometimes but.
Do you really think he has ill will in his heart and you really thinking.
He has any sort of racist feelings are meant to make a real reference to the Republicans -- put African Americans in chains.
Well let me just say that's all I know is that this -- -- a pattern of him saying that of course then Senator Obama was fresh and clean and well spoken.
Of him saying that you can't go into a 7-Eleven without finding some -- Indian dialect this is a man who has a history of these comments.
My only point here make it is the fact that the Obama administration has no record to run on.
They are gonna turn to this slash and burn tactics to try to hide their failed record and fortunately they the vice president it's -- -- -- very racially insensitive manner.
Congressman as somebody who's in politics is it the role of the vice president to go out there and sort of throw a few bombs you know we -- with Sarah Palin when she was with.
Running with John McCain she was the one a -- -- after the Bill Ayers thing whereas John McCain didn't is much.
Pound out -- -- -- -- is that sort of the role of the vice president once we're meeting up to a presidential election.
It has become the roles as vice president without any question -- we have to remember is that.
What this current administration is doing in the political season.
This finding a way to keep the attention off the fact that for the last forty plus months we've -- unemployment over 8%.
We have 23 million Americans who were unemployed underemployed or stop looking for war -- the very best tactic they have.
Is -- try to find some fear tactic that takes us back.
And several decades they have a conversation not about the economy not about creating jobs not about the fact that obamacare takes 700 billion dollars away from Medicare they wanna have a conversation that is to divert the attention the American people and it's not going to war.
-- I want to ask you we put together a couple of clips.
Of Joseph Biden making some gaps in the past and this is that type -- thing I'm referring to what I when I say there's a reason that.
Some people give him a pass because he can he goes you know to this place.
So very often it -- watch.
It's -- standout shot seven city.
Hope god love you -- -- -- talking about.
I tell you what you make -- everybody else stand up -- well.
His -- Lived in and Long Island for ten years or so.
God rest her soul and although she's wait your we're still your -- still alive in your dad passed.
Thank you Terry -- thank you.
Doctor -- thank you chancellor -- doctor paper.
That having the worst and that birth Lawrence donegan a wheelchair to stand up like you know you see him and you kind of think.
Our -- he does he may he -- these things that he probably shouldn't say but.
It's hard debts to -- -- ill will to him or is it.
Well I have to -- I've met the senator about a vice president many times is a very nice man is a very affable man.
But behind his -- ability and his -- now money I think there are some questions that he has a consistent pattern of saying these things not only just gas Megan.
But the racial insensitivity that he has.
If he's got something assailant blitzer about the administration's record let's hear about -- since their campaign slogan is forwards have a gonna move this country -- as opposed to unfortunately I believe.
We -- more racially divided -- we have been in this post racial administration they failed and somebody different levels thank you guys both for being here with your insight that we've always.
