Well -- -- awful at another federal agency today this time the allegations are coming from agents with the immigration and customs enforcement agency -- known it better known as ice.
A top official is now on a voluntary leave of absence amid a growing scandal at the agency.
Here's a story.
They head of New York's ice or.
Ice office is suing the Homeland Security secretary Janet Napolitano.
Accusing her of turning the agency didn't into a female run a frat house.
The suit alleges secretary -- volatile promoter female friends even if they were qualified for the job.
Statements from two sworn affidavits allege that this woman the ice chief of staff made sexual advances and graphic remarks to co workers.
About their crutches.
The comments are not suitable for daytime television but you can read the entire complained at foxnews.com.
The agency confirms it opened an internal review into those charges while the chief of staff is on leave.
As for that lawsuit against secretary -- -- and I spokesman calls the claims unfounded.
Let's turn to -- into political reporter Aaron -- from real clear politics dot com she's live and Kapalua what do you know about this thing.
Well basically I've -- -- the administration today and the White House is saying nothing they're saying that they don't know very much about it -- have referred to the fact that there is an investigation going on and they don't want to be saying anything about it until the investigation is over.
What I think I have heard is that the man who's making these allegations.
Was potentially upset because there are relocation costs that he was not paid -- so he is -- -- of set in and and making -- these allegations as results of that.
You know exit and quite frankly some of these allegations and the actual words that were used were used on our air earlier in the day and I guess our producer had a problem whether or something but I read -- -- If anybody's ever been in I don't know it's not like they were appropriate but to suit the it to -- -- Paula -- over.
Over a couple of things some people said it just seems almost it seems preposterous is what it -- It's potentially over the top that's for sure how ever.
If these allegations are true and it was going on and -- -- kind of knew about it and that is a problem for her and -- not would then become a political problem for the administration if she is presiding of our workplace environment like.
Yet I hear that do you know.
Women have been degraded in the workplace for much longer than most of us would like to remember.
I mean it it happens became what it does their investigations and the people responsible for it.
Usually get a good bit of trouble this time the tables are turned you wonder why would go all the way to the top of the agency but I hear you it's about.
A culture and overall culture and if that cultures and miss than the person in charge of the culture I guess gets targeted.
That's exactly right all right parents could say you have -- -- say they keep you.
