Okay.

Good morning from severed Cisco 11 AM local time here 2 o'clock and he says the -- -- show of course art technology take on news we have a bunch of topics for you.

Coming here from the tech capital of the world separatist -- -- just -- bureau first time doing the show.

From here in San Francisco's -- excited about that we're gonna -- their first guest is actually.

In our normal home down in Los Angeles we're gonna go down there and talk to.

-- -- About a couple of things went and mainly of course avenues we're talking about seat upgrades and as we go to heaven right now to you can follow us on Twitter -- Adam -- -- follows on FaceBook and of course you can live chat on foxnews.com Evan.

He's the founder of -- OC the -- -- -- and Evan you know we just went to a giant's game here on Monday in a place was packed.

And what's so interesting about this is -- had a friend that had for his talk about the someone tonight in fact when the game is getting blown out and the giants are getting killed people we're going home.

You have moved down to a better -- closer to the action there's really no one to stop him -- -- say the game was a close game.

Anyone to better see your app is the one that solves that right.

That's correct.

Tell us about it how to work.

Well we -- teams in the venues and -- companies and so if the giants for example had unsold inventory.

And the fans are watching the game in the third inning they -- seats down low.

They -- hop and diplomacy gap band down a crater C right then.

I'm -- their Beers and -- on down the new seats.

So are the teams -- working with obviously this is on the is its new -- he has been out.

We're actually launching our first -- -- on September -- they're playing duke -- a football game.

Pounds that's -- rolling out our first game.

So ideally.

If this was to spread throughout the leagues you would be -- people in touch with the teams throughout the game obviously to see the seats that have not been sold.

And then.

People can be you know again in the first second inning off of a baseball game or in the first quarter of football game whatever the Stanford game for example say -- you there and you watching duke play Stanford.

And you look down on section 102 you see some seats down there.

You'd be able to go one of the happened and look at -- associates are available.

Yeah exactly so we -- -- before the game we know what seats were on soul and says be loaded on the publicity GAAP.

Answers stamper -- turn on diplomacy -- They can answer whether fans like you said upgrade -- first quarter second quarter third quarter who knows but downs toll after the -- they control that.

The team actually controls the app itself and then obviously putting your your payment amount place -- didn't pay with PayPal one of those services and and then basically just move on down.

Yeah exactly -- one you can log jam with you know FaceBook Linkedin and Twitter or create a policy count you can pay -- Amazon -- our credit card.

Ideally you know you have -- -- our -- and her story so throughout the game and you hop on -- C.

All you gotta do is pick your new seat.

And you know your payments that this is -- Are out violence -- -- a quick you know less than one minute transaction we don't want to miss again you're there watching game not -- when your holiday itself.

-- -- the first game is doing this the first time as he usually is in the Stanford game coming up here and a couple weeks.

That's right that's right.

Now we got some NBA NHL teams lined up for the upcoming season as well some more NCAA -- Look at what's what what is that the feedback to beat it star fans out there that are gonna say as is great I love the idea that is the other guys who just pay for the general commissioner.

Papers she -- -- we know why don't do that when I can just sneak down and said Tennessee.

That's a lot closer to the -- not pay the money.

-- not a great question and down.

They -- -- again earlier that's how the idea was born a bye bye guys knocked down as an empty seats and then get kicked out what -- -- of course the teams have to have security.

We have to protect their premium seats of there's no -- Guarding screening -- you sneak down.

You know that's a problem ideally we think -- we seek to provide -- revenue for these teams have been taken you know hire more -- if necessary on.

But I also think to some fans are.

Hesitant to sneak down because -- going to embarrass someone shows up or whatnot so I'm.

Publicity given the legit way to upgrade their seats.

We have -- first comic coming -- through viewers says that a sounds like such an awesome idea I hate being -- concerts -- games and seeing empty seats closer to the stage.

Allowed to be able to get my hands on those so.

I -- got -- look at -- possibility of moving this over the whole concert venue idea right.

Absolutely not a great comment and downs -- -- happens and most are connections and the sports leagues but certainly concerts.

I'm really you know we want world domination up -- to be you know cricket in India.

Rugby in South Africa anywhere there's a venue with -- seats we wanna be there.

So definitely content -- our list.

What do what do you call this idea how long it's taken -- this what -- -- you know I've always been curious about people that are developing apps is.

You come up with an idea how long is -- like this take to develop an -- perhaps someone else develop it for you -- -- from idea to concept to.

Eventual app.

Outside my grandpa was they had dairy farmer for thirty years in Virginia and he said side uphill all the way.

So -- it's a lot longer harder -- -- -- You know this idea was born.

Fifteen months ago.

And we -- CTO Dan Simon nominees and -- -- -- head designer.

We've cultivated a great team and we built this over the last you know 1213 months so on it's a long time.

You know not to mention -- in the product and in the design and all that but also the sales process -- exports either venues on -- a lot of hard work so on.

I definitely hear stories about east overnight success stories but you on you rarely see the the background of the two years of blood sweat and tears -- stuff.

Right well Evan Ellis pursue your time from the Los Angeles bureaus call pogo seat that's the app again -- see you confided.

Right now on the app store's closing Google and you'll be able to try it out coming up if you're at the Stanford duke game and a couple of weeks and I'm sure it.

It sounds like it's going to be standing out there this -- so good luck with everything -- thanks for joining us we'll check back here with yet.

And see how that first game way.

Now get thanks a lot.

A right once again you can notch I've been on.

Our live chat at foxnews.com live of course you also can go to FaceBook Adam Housley Fox News or.

I Twitter at Adam Housley -- getting comets coming -- and we'll keep updated on those as we move along affected their checks coming in right now.

From joy EEB.

This is great everyone should use -- so.

Did some positive comments we'll -- up logos he does that first game we'll check back in with them before before the falls over with.

Meets outer rim of the Miami now and Jenna Hogan joins us this kind of -- story about how they're using -- to talk to a -- -- right.

Yes -- we are.

So you know we see how I pads are being used in so we destroys hospitals with kids that -- disabled folks that -- -- helping them.

I'll overcome some of that that the problems they've had people in recovery processes and there's -- different applications for.

I padded for that matter of some of the other tablets out there how are you guys using this -- -- who came up with the idea how simple -- something like this to use.

Well actually what we're doing is we're using an app it's -- top to talk and what it is it has a variety of different pictures on it and we asked fearing its hand to identify one of the objects that pushes it and it says it out loud.

So what this does is entering its hands don't have developed vocal cords or voice boxes so it's giving them a boy -- another way to communicate with us.

So what we do it's just senator Richmond it's fun in games they don't have to participate if they don't like -- it's just all about having fun.

Now you guys are from jungle island explained just before we go on and ask more about the happened and how it's used what is jungle -- where it's located in and give us kind of the basic rundown for those of us -- warrant.

In the Florida area.

Okay Jolo island is actually my -- number one and Stanley attraction and it's located in the heart of Miami it's between downtown in South Beach.

It's a great place to go bring your family we have lots of rare rare creatures there we are home of the -- very.

Which is biggest cat and Guinness book of world -- records we have.

Peanut and pumped in -- wondering if Cannes that very sad during a chance -- ever be born in captivity.

We have mama Cass who is a cast a wary of the only train castle -- in the world.

So we had a variety of different animals that are unique to jungle island.

So we're season.

With a video right now that you guys provide this with the apt there a trainer having a -- -- -- -- -- explain how this all works and he obviously so they don't -- vocal -- but.

Obviously they had the -- cognitive.

Intelligence to do stuff with an iPad -- -- How are -- using this.

Okay well what we did is we first started out -- big huge index cards and we asked them to identify the object on an index card.

So when they successfully completed that stage we moved and we -- all of those objects onto our iPad.

So eventually what they did is they weren't easily taken 2 -- and ages had so much fun being able to pick this foul and they rove were -- and right when they got it right.

Or as -- move on I want it.

Knock out -- to people -- -- this I humility Howard from my New Albany Mississippi and Michelle yeah heiress of both giving -- on this city.

They seem to like it is well.

So far it seems like it's working well then what the hearing -- obviously it shows the the video shows that you guys are obviously touting that.

We actually I heard.

And then what's the -- it is -- -- planet maybe try with other animals that have the ability to to use the same kind of processes so to speak.

Yes so Carolina we're just focusing on nearing its hands but eventually -- -- would love to be -- leaves us with some more back animal species in the -- What are traders telling you when you when you went from the note cards as you mentioned the beginning to -- -- -- was there any beyond the people first go away is maybe a little bit too much -- no -- -- working great what are we need to use an iPad as it's more.

Just a -- to get publicity army to give us that kind of feedback and serve first you had some people that we're a little bit skeptical.

Right of course but by no means are we doing this for publicity this was just one thing we have a whole program -- and you can school where it's all enrichment dedicated to stimulating the minds of these captive orangutans.

And the iPad was just one tool that we thought would be fun for them to use something new something different and they took to it so well that.

We now where just going along with -- as they paragraph.

We have someone viewer has a question for that attack come -- right now our name is Julie -- -- Tobin.

Asked the question you know it can this be used with children have speech development problems.

-- -- I've had a -- over with that.

Absolutely that's what our whole apple was designed to do why is tell work with children who are autistic and we found at the same thing with the Iranian hands.

-- they had the intelligence the speak they just don't have the equipment to do it.

So the app that we -- can definitely definitely -- is it's called captive talk it's a great act.

Bat I have an old little question is coming via Twitter is a bit off topic but it's not jungle island they say liars are real.

Laugh out loud that's from her friend and our friend DC.

Between that and just now so.

Why -- -- real right.

Yes they are you can kind of jungle island C one for yourself.

And act and -- it's so big user because of the cross breeding.

High you know I'm work with the primates are really getting into that question but he is quite large I can assure you of that.

Eyes -- the -- how order we kid you you talk about kids and he gives the zoo and and in their their feedback.

Being able see animals for the first time.

When they see an iPad you know so many kids are growing up at these now mean to -- by ten years ago you would never seen that.

And for those of us obviously were born later in ipads are obviously new on the scene for kids.

That maybe 56 years old they've -- iPad almost their whole life.

What do they say what are what's their reaction when they see the trainers with hearing -- with an iPad.

Well all day a -- -- and obviously their first question is can they play Angry Birds I get about it probably every day that.

So no they can't play Angry Birds or fruit ninja but you know -- -- -- an honor one I have and maybe one day.

Maybe one day I'll appreciate your time -- -- hope way if jungle island in Miami.

I you can check out the iPad as they use it with a hearing -- and hopefully some of their products -- -- on the future looks exactly what you thanks again for your time.

Great stuff in a lovely idea being able to cross over you guys are talking with.

You know some of the the folks at helping out kids for example with the autistic with the artistic training in.

Education out there to help kids.

Develop as well with the iPad so -- -- -- -- I would -- with him later -- take a quick break and come back we have a couple more segments where you guys for the show's over.

-- -- and keep sending us those messages -- getting some good feedback so far stay with this'll be right back.

-- I welcome back to detect -- show live from San Francisco the headquarters of all the technology of course.

And we're first time go lighter so far I've had a pretty couple pretty good guess some good comments coming in you can follow us on Twitter at at -- housing and follows on FaceBook.

Adam Housley Fox News and of course you also can live chat.

Now we go to New York our first guest of course from Los and the second guess from Miami -- to sewing up the coast to bid to New York.

And bring in now Marc Cooper co-founder and CEO of offer pop we're talking about another accusation.

Acquisition I should say this time by -- will you know some of the more just some of the more controversial ones in recent months.

I had been by FaceBook -- Google of course picking up wild fire.

Which people home -- -- -- we're trying we try to make this a bit more layman for so many people because you don't have time to really going to some of the technology aspects of things in the deep.

Deep part of these stories but bush after you -- is why is that when a home care beg Google acquire all the while acquired wild fire and what is wild far.

In layman's terms so wildfires a company that runs promotions on FaceBook and Twitter.

And as you know for those.

You know 900 million people on the platform.

Cause civilian now on FaceBook.

Whenever they do a brand page and they you know redeem the coupon -- participate in a photo contest that kind of thing is powered by wildfire.

So that's why people or that's how people would run and Saddam.

Some -- in terms of the acquisition itself.

You know I'm not sure that every day people are necessarily gonna care about the acquisition.

What I do think this means is that advertise advertisers are gonna have the very integrated way to run ads.

Through Google's platforms.

And obviously they're also making an investment in FaceBook now but I think that's what this acquisition of wild -- is all about.

Market we -- so we saw every time we get people like in one of our comments marine deal likes that common RDS and we're doing right now we appreciate that.

You mark have a question though while most who may not care about the wildfire acquisition we might see -- -- are concerned because you know there's the argument -- -- taking over everything and it's all going to be.

And -- -- a monopoly but that's the worry with some is that everything's gonna be under a couple of main corporations and that's it you're not gonna happen.

You know that the spread of some of these technologies over a wider swath of companies and is that a worry that Google once again it's taken over another major company.

You know it's.

Its interest saying I think.

When Google's looking at something like you know this acquisition you know specifically.

They're looking at integrating it into their overall -- business here and specifically the double click business unit.

Let's run by guy named -- Mohamed god the number of companies are rolled up underneath our group.

And you know I think overall.

You know you're looking at kind of another piece -- goes into that solution.

-- now is it gonna be anticompetitive anyway in the market.

You know I think it's too soon to say you know for the for the time being -- I think.

But there's still a good amount of autonomy out there for small businesses who want to buy into the platforms.

-- I think there's also.

The good amount of variety in terms of vendors that companies can use.

To purchase ads on FaceBook.

-- so I don't I don't look at this is being anti competitive.

-- You know overall -- Google's big company and you know I think with this acquisition as with others that they've taken and so you know and then recent.

History.

Come they're gonna have to work hard to integrate those solutions -- -- their overall business and they usually takes a while.

No I had somebody -- seriously mark.

How successful was it to advertise -- you see these advertisements popping up now.

On FaceBook on Twitter saying hey you can put your advertising here on the side -- you put this kind of you know this.

What's the word the Twitter users you hear your between your advertising yet when another tweet -- -- his position.

Thank you sponsored tweet sponsored tweet on Twitter -- you got the advertisements on FaceBook on the side.

It seems pretty easy to do -- pretty affordable but how effective are they for a company for example let's say.

In a smaller town in California does it make a lot of sense.

Necessarily.

Yes definitely so did -- depends on what had types are buying -- You know sponsored -- are very effective for small businesses.

For FaceBook are actually introduced saying.

-- and had type that they called sponsored stories which is you know actually been around for a little while.

But they're moving sponsored stories into.

The news feeds so whenever you go to FaceBook more than likely you're spending most of your time.

Checking out what your friends have been doing updates photos what have you.

Companies will now have the ability to sponsor.

A message or an image or what have you been sent it out to people's news -- -- and so that's pretty effective and you know the targeting capabilities on FaceBook or our.

You know.

Very detailed and engraved.

So small businesses you know I think we'll have a great time using that platform.

Prime market over co-founder and CEO and CMO of opera pop appreciate your time in the information passed along we'll check back in with you about everything advertising online and we'll see how that.

This acquisition does and I will say -- -- just like to comment and like the segment so I would tell Nancy thank -- opportunity and thanks Mark -- thank you -- Are right from the New York to go back down the coast to someone you -- seen here on the -- before Dave I -- is in Miami Dave's talking about a couple of things for the what an -- Alex asked -- more than what we're supposed to ask him because.

Yes some great information about security and safety -- line and you don't wanna saw the segment that is put on about -- the -- CEOs kid basically tweeting out information reminded me that I had a friend -- they say you know my daughter keeps putting on Twitter what -- it out over there where that.

NEC goes -- I'm worried that people are gonna know where we are and maybe go over to the house and take a few things while we're gone.

I tell us what happened first always -- CEOs did.

Obviously she -- out things that were a little bit sensitive in terms of her location.

Her patterns or habits.

And it sort of goes both way here because you know the previous segment obviously you were talking a lot about.

-- sort of big companies will target you to sell ads to you well the same thing goes the other way obviously there's -- various people out there who are targeting you.

Perhaps they know that you really enjoy Buffy the Vampire Slayer need -- -- comic convention that weekend and there's website that will then say that if you're there -- you can't -- your house.

And of course that can lead to trouble if you're multi billionaire like elect says.

Yeah I didn't realize that Michael Dell it's his daughter.

He spends two point seven million dollars every year just on security you know we hear about security.

When people are going to Latin America for example other companies -- their executives in certain parts of the world.

We really don't think about some times here in America that if you are someone like Michael -- or someone like.

One of the other major business leaders in this country you're spending a lot of money base to protect your family from.

Somebody might want to do -- harm.

Ball goes the other way too you know we've done a lot of business with the US military teaching them how.

You know the things that they tweet or post about on FaceBook can use the target not just themselves but also their family back home.

And that can lead operational security issues.

So this becomes you know it can go anywhere from your personal house to.

A you know large wealthy individuals sort of infrastructure or just -- a US military stuff.

What about this this.

Was it strapped for talking about this new surveillance side.

Program is being used by the military know that we've covered some of this.

With the ability to scan faces in in some of the things that can be done if people coming in -- country for example they can even stand now on C.

What kind of temperature you might have for someone might be sick out what.

What kind of security implications that.

Well it's -- -- -- because you know it all ties together -- a crazy wacky world Julian Assange obviously today.

Is making an announcement he's been granted asylum and Ecuador although he's not going to be able to make it there.

And of course you have his organization is the one that published the information from strapped for.

Which is itself an intelligence corporation launched by -- intelligence officials.

And the discussion is about abraxis and then what's letter trap wire.

Technology.

Which is there to try to track individuals as they surveil.

Sort of high importance targets such as the White House or various -- Phillies and you know -- stock exchange and that sort of thing.

So I think what you -- is a very existing connection between all these things.

Obviously.

The federal government would would sort of be yelled that if after 9/11 they hadn't taken advantage of every technology possible.

To sort of protect these things from future terrorist attacks.

And so the story could very much be the other way you know it's great that they're doing this this is such technology they think works in some cases I can -- -- personal experience that.

Face recognition is really going to be a very small part of it it's very difficult to do.

But you know some of the other things just looking at though license plates from cars the drive by can be very viable.

So there's a lot of different angles of the story part of it is that -- amazed that business got released in the wild and that is of course very surprising.

But you know there's there is sort of many sides of this little gray world here.

How important and how effective is -- open source intelligence people home open source intelligence means you can go online you and I.

Can go online and find a lot of this information that's been posted by.

Would it be leaked web sites -- B.

Did -- -- web sites where they want the information to be posted how important is is open source intelligence you see a lot of companies out there now mining the Internet for you.

To -- out for example your reputation.

Reputation.

Type of software that's out there.

Is something it's effective.

And as an important that it.

Well I think when you see that the intelligence community looks and open source information and sort of uses it as a very valuable trove of things -- That they can collect and connect in ways you didn't believe they could connect them.

So for example when you're at Starbucks browsing on on the Internet.

The people at Starbucks know a lot more about you than you think they deal and that's really where the value comes then.

But of course the the other side of the story though the Wiki -- all -- sort of stuff that's stuff they never expected to become.

Open source information a lot of that's classified secret or or oh you know which is the right standard sort of medium scary stuff.

So that I would need it -- -- -- say that's open source but it certainly very viable for our.

Potential counterparts in the Russian intelligence and Chinese intelligence organizations.

Got a short restaurant console more quick question for parents at home or anybody else for that matter what with the with what can be learned from what -- -- did I mean.

Can you tell your kids hate for all of our safety for your own safety don't -- really tell everybody all of your movements.

I think you know that's certainly what you and I would think but I think our kids are gonna come up with a different set of values.

Their set of values is I'm just gonna tell everyone everything that I do and just live my life like like that's just what everyone's gonna know about me so.

I think you can say all you want I don't think your kids are gonna change their behavior.

But the I think units who has a lot of these different technologies out there are now on home securities is in the light -- -- your house on your iPhone so you can got -- iPhone -- -- Your android and click on a button and and be able to see what's going on your house and in some cases even have audio.

No one no one service contacted me today we'll take a picture of your alarms on it some -- tripped that alarm not only -- contact authorities doubles and a picture of your cellphone.

Right away of potentially somebody trying to break -- so I guess there's the whole positive and negative to all this being able to track yourself and that matter people tracks you.

Well let's get a little bit if you're doing skinny dipping in your backyard pool of something that's -- be careful of that stuff.

All right.

Dave I tell us CEO of immunity it always helps it's great to have you on and give us the the feedback on safety security online and not.

You know I guess when you have two point seven million dollars being spent on -- security you're gonna want your daughter -- and not necessarily tell everybody.

What -- -- of course is accused of doing by her father that was that date again thanks for your time always good to have you -- don't -- talking again and assemblies.

All right that's different tactic coming from San Francisco isn't good -- so -- great -- appreciate everybody got chime in did have a chance of course common about everybody who.

Like us on FaceBook or Twitter or -- a comment but we do appreciate your time.

If you have any ideas of things you like to -- -- take let us know of course apparently having -- section.

But today were in San Francisco on the roads would have a chance to bring those gadgets with dissident feel like going through.

Airport security with all those gadgets.

Meantime we're gonna switch it over now because coming up next here on now fox news live but -- dot com live.

He's -- Heidi with fox 411 life she comes up to 30 eastern of course it's love and thirty year local on the West Coast -- just couple of minutes away.

So after this short break you come back and you go from San Francisco back to New York to talk about for fox 411 live of course everything -- -- on.

In the whole lot atmosphere dealing with Hollywood so thanks again for joining us from San Francisco.

Next it will be back in good old Los Angeles.
