Now when you thought the presidential campaign couldn't slide much deeper into the -- work.

Along comes Joseph Biden with his race baiting comment in Virginia.

They're gonna put you all back and shaves.

Well that was right on the heels.

Of the despicable -- that attempted to link Mitt Romney to a woman's cancer death.

Even though even Harry Reid's vivid imagination and invisible friends couldn't stretch that far to make the connection.

Then poor old Joseph Biden seem to forget what state he was in while he was in Virginia.

You we can't win North Carolina.

I'm sure -- good.

Joseph had on this fire of the mind as to what century we're in.

-- whereas a break we cannot leave the world a twentieth century and making automobiles are not seeing it written anywhere.

Does Syria January did you are really have.

Now where.

Thought he even had a problem remembering what public office Paul Ryan actually holds.

Would governor -- and his promises to give the whole nation.

I'm sure Paul Ryan wishes he were a governor it's a great job I can attest to that.

Well for those over the top and beyond the last meter mouth masses the vice president was sent home without -- He seemed have been placed in the time -- chair by President Obama and exile the Delaware.

But this is just August now by October we're all gonna have to be wearing Hazmat suits.

In order to survive the political season if this stuff is any indication.

As I can attest from my own twenty years in the arena politics is a rough game played without protective gear and -- But even in rough games they're supposed to be some sportsmanship and regard for the human dignity of one's opponents.

Even in my beloved south where football.

Is not a sport but a religious experience.

An injury to an opposing player brought harsh from the crowd on both sides of the stadium.

And when the injured player was helped off -- -- hauled off.

The crowd respectfully -- in honor of the injured player.

And it's why this week I pay respect.

To congressman Jesse Jackson junior.

He's been on -- since June and this week it was revealed that the unfounded speculation is of why he was missing were completely wrong.

And that he's being treated for bipolar disease.

That disclosure gets all of us an opportunity to pause from the sometimes petty partisan even petulant politics of the day.

To extend our very best wishes our prayers our support yes are respectful applause for the one who had to be helped off the field of play.

Hopefully his condition is gonna remind all of us that depression and bipolar disorder are any other mental condition.

Is as much a medical condition.

As a broken leg -- -- we would never tell somebody with a broken leg just to get up and walk it off.

And we don't tell people suffering from a broken spirit to just shake it off and be happy.

Broken legs and broken minds can be healed but it takes time and treatment and there is no shame in getting help for either.

Congressman Jesse -- you know I probably don't agree on.

Almost anything in politics but today he's not a Democrat opponent he is a worthy competitor who has left the field with an injury.

And until he's well.

I hope you'll join with me in wishing him a speedy recovery and sincere prayers for him and his family.
