Facing -- relentless onslaught from well funded an aggressive groups and individuals who are using the courts congress and the vast federal bureaucracy to suppress and limit religious freedom.

They set examples like the thirteen year legal battle over this simple cross erected in the Mojave Desert on National Park Service land in 1934.

Eleven miles off the nearest highway meant to honor World War I veterans.

The ACLU and atheist groups have deemed it offensive.

There's also the Obama administration's directive that will require employers who provide health insurance to employees.

To comply with the regulations ensuring that any policy includes cost free access to birth control even if that is in direct conflict with the employer's religious beliefs.

The administration has long maintained that it is sensitive to striking the right balance between religious liberty and other important goals like access to medical care.

Just days ago President Obama said this.

Solve all of freedoms we cherish as Americans.

All the rights that we hold sacred.

Foremost among them is freedom of religion.

There was a shooting last week at headquarters of one of the groups behind this report the family research council.

According to FBI documents before opening fire the suspect told the security guard he shot quote.
