Thanks for saying let us I'm Laura Ingraham in for Bill O'Reilly and and -- -- follow up segment tonight.

As you -- know a group of ex military members have released a documentary critical of President Obama.

They say that he's taken credit for the death of Osama bin Laden among other things.

This is our countries are -- We have just beaten down.

Why we have to speak out -- say we will not take this anymore enough is enough.

If I had one piece of advice for this administration would be the same thing that former secretary of defense Bob gates -- -- -- Top US general Martin Dempsey expressed concern over the veterans anti Obama campaign.

The American people don't want us to be another special interest group and they just don't want that effect.

I think it confuses them if someone uses beautiful.

Whatever uniform it.

For partisan politics.

I'm disappointed by.

They think it does erodes that bond of trust we have with the American people.

So the question -- are these former servicemen doing a dis service by getting political order they have every right.

Like anyone else to speak out doing it now from Boston is colonel David -- to fox military analyst.

And here with -- Washington Patricia -- are now a senior fellow at the world policy.

Institute -- Patricia let's start with you -- I understand -- -- active duty us serviceman.

Or woman that mean I don't wanna speak out about politics and that's pretty much standard procedure and that makes sense.

But these are tired and it seems like if anyone's earned the right to speak out about leaks or special operations and a bunch of former Navy SEALs and other special ops guys.

Probably have the right to do so what's the problem there.

Well this is an -- discussion about the soldier in the state -- you what how do we want to see our soldiers and what type of capacity and then what is their role and within the constitution their subordinate to.

The will of the people and therefore under the representatives of the elected individuals there.

So we wanna see our soldiers as protectorate of Americans all Americans not partisan and not.

Being politicized basically where they're self identifying.

As to a party -- -- candidate or are specific.

They come on -- endorse anyone necessarily but they're critical especially in these leaks and and colonel hunt a petition -- ray's appointment -- after soldiers is nonpartisan I understand that but they are former serviceman.

Are -- not there's no active duty folks involved in this group called opt -- -- following a friend of mind and the truth is that.

Who Vatican speak about stuff like -- security and people have done that.

Have a T shirt and hat.

The problem with this ad to me -- -- will be too far.

I don't -- on Obama but is actually accurate on the -- this administration as the previous six.

Have been leaking like citizens getting information out which is -- the -- highly classified.

Major what bill Colin who by the way one that's Marines -- -- -- serious combat experience he's not he's talking about just that.

During this -- for -- bin Laden.

We we got the secretary of defense and others say this administration is giving out way too much detail that's a really fair yet.

But when I go after and they Obama taking credit -- it would all the line politically but there's no question.

-- -- -- -- -- I didn't -- we have every right and -- and I'm glad I think we should do more of it.

It's a segment of society that just suffers -- quietly and I and -- the Arabs.

And I think a lot of former military members Patricia they run for congress obviously you'd like John McCain -- and run for president to become president so.

They become partisan when they become candidates so so to say well it's bad for them to it.

-- -- put -- these as a man and mrs.

Obama does all this great work for military families she is out there and and I have people criticize her for -- politicizing the military doing that to get some reflective glory or to get votes from the military.

I don't outlet and seems to me that -- the military is here for all of us and they should be respected and their views even if we disagree with them.

Should be and I should be out there.

Well they are here for all of us and I think that's the bottom line in the plane.

So we have to do you know basically the idea of how -- in the military is for the entire.

They think they're doing it for everybody they think it makes everybody safer we'll and we don't have these obscenely political leaks to make the president slowly better and that's what he's doing is we're gonna make Obama look are often come on on the -- -- -- have been done to make Obama for not really -- -- don't know what we're -- -- we're not sure first of all those -- have come from.

And it really kind of got a little security as they are also they can't -- White House though they also absolutely continents.

Hear from congress yeah I absolutely and then come from congress -- -- iMac and I think that's the -- Not -- the malevolent but look what we're talking about special compartment and intelligence.

Congress doesn't have that Clarence.

That it is no question -- is coming from that's -- the secretary of defense was so upset.

That's gotta do these operations who prepared us for ten years intelligence but what brings you guys the pilots don't know one -- that kind of credit.

But they don't want -- -- people talking about the name of the dog actually.

-- -- -- -- That kill as the agent in all of -- doesn't it doesn't help anyone if they burnished his political credentials and it and it's like gutsy call kind of deal IRS looks like it is grandstanding.

I appreciate it colonel hot --
