Welcome to another edition of special report on line on Brett -- you have been here before welcome aboard you can -- -- questions or comments.

The bit more relaxed you can vote -- some holes that -- pop up right down here below me.

And we can interact.

At a fiery panel tonight so fiery that AB Stoddard had to leave.

She couldn't -- she couldn't -- anything right now if I had.

So -- chief national correspondent.

Jim Angle thank you for coming and sure of course -- Charles here -- -- heavier lets.

Let's talk about.

Medicare and and obviously it's on them.

On the lips of a lot of candidates both sides are running ads about it and we touched on it at the end there.

That the president keeps on running on this Ryan plan that actually was a first iteration.

Not the one that passed the house will not the one that he was touting with -- Wyden a Democrat from or again.

And not the one that he is now accepted as vice presidential candidate that Mitt Romney is running.

Right.

Well that's because it's hard to -- on the current plan that's hard run against the current plan it is hard to offer criticism that makes sense.

Because you've got a liberal senator from Oregon and who has embraced the Ryan plan and the reason the embraced it.

Is very -- thing and that is because in Oregon and -- 42%.

Of Medicare recipients were on Medicare Advantage.

Now Medicare Advantage is very similar to -- Ryan would do would offer people for the entire plan.

Which is you could go to private insurers they would bid for your business you sign up they provide you with care.

The reason that those people so many people and organ one Medicare Advantage because they live in small communities and those plans offer one thing that Medicare does not.

They guarantee.

You a doctor.

And if you can't get a doctor you've got nothing.

And the problem is the way Medicare is now structured the reimbursement is gonna go down down down.

It is going to eventually be below Medicaid health care for the poor where people can't get doctors now.

And you're gonna have seniors in twenty years are going to be and a complete revolt because they won't be able to get doctors know -- sees that.

He -- -- you heard -- saying my -- he gets his steady diet of benefit cuts yeah and this we're talking about.

Possible possibly affecting current seniors because of their inability to get.

Doctors whereas the Ryan plan as it passed the house and the Wyden plan.

Would only deal with people 55.

And under way so I mean when.

The president is on the -- and says that the Romney Ryan plan will.

End Medicare as you know it and turned it into a voucher system and all of those things and -- in acts.

People should know -- well vouch.

There is a very misleading term premium support out there are -- they used voucher because they -- -- -- an exercise you get something and he says and so you're gonna be left footing the bill.

Now that is completely incorrect.
