There is a a discouraging progress report tonight on how you are doing since the end of the recession.

White House correspondent Wendell Goler on what could be damaging numbers for president Obama's reelection -- It's a central theme of the president's reelection campaign that not just the recession but the policies of the Bush Administration.

But the middle class is on its way back.

But for the Romney -- to get the numbers are a perfect fit.

Joseph Biden said the other day that the middle -- is it in the midst of -- recovery.

Clinton Obama said that.

The project is doing just fine.

This is the Obama imaginary -- some experts say the recovery is real but it's not as steep as the recession was -- This is -- battle to come back.

And and we're not making enough ground.

To really get the economy hit and I'm full cylinders.

New Fox News poll -- more people feel their finances will improve it Mitt Romney wins then if the president is reelected.

Romney spends most of his time on that issue this president's policies haven't worked but the fault may not -- with this president or a number of -- before -- A pew research study says the middle class has been shrinking since 1971.

And don't know president since the Great Depression has been reelected with unemployment this high the places where the recession has hurt the most are where mr.

Obama is strongest.

If you look at the big cities you look at all the Blue States in in those parts in those cities -- for people have been hurt the worst.

Economist mark said he thinks the recovery will pick up next year no matter who's elected president -- it's a safe bet whether it's mr.

Romney or mr.

Obama.
