Well let's turn now to Scott Horowitz he is a former NASA astronaut as well and president and CEO of docs aerospace and he joins us with.

His thoughts today thank you so much for joining us.

Back bearing in the first of all you obviously you were -- not from 1990 to 2004.

A veteran of four space flights yourself.

What Neil Armstrong mean to you in your career.

Well you know like.

Previously.

I've watched GL and land on the moon.

In the summer of 69 after my -- grade and I'm a black and white TV and that's and I decided that some day that I should become an astronaut because that was the perfect job.

And so is very inspired by -- and all the other -- entire space program and so I I grew up in the space stage there and it was.

An incredible you know part of my life -- and and you know watch this happen to grow up and then to have the opportunity.

Do client base -- to work with and meet people like Neil Roland and all the ones that had gone before me what -- -- phenomenal.

Opportunity.

Yeah we we hear all these stories where he was -- have a reluctant to American hero.

When he -- what was he like in person when you just speak hung out with them during the day what was he like.

Well I remember one time it as bitter and we're discussing you know but I different designs but Landers because they're looking in the Constellation Program to return to the money go to -- And it you know very honest domain.

If you didn't know who we was he'd have no idea this was the first person to walk on the moon.

Like many it has said he didn't -- the limelight at all.

He was -- very very kind and personal ball and and and I left them and yet he was he was.

Very talented.

And very experienced -- -- just a wonderful individual it as well as being you know an American hero.

How did he feel -- You know the current states.

The space industry.

In the United States did you all ever have a chance to talk about that and where it was going the direction that it was taking.

Yes he murdered like many of -- one's surprise and is disappointed that.

It almost -- that there accomplishment.

At the end of the Apollo program.

Were.

A point from which we retreated.

We used to be able to send people past quarter of a million miles out -- -- and land on another heavenly body.

We've now built the space station and we had the shuttle program but we've retreated into what we -- -- with lower orbit.

And I know he and -- water.

Quite frustrated.

But the fact that we weren't going out and exploring -- and -- You know our envelope and going further and so I know that concerned him and then the last several years he would voice that opinion -- many times.

Yet and finally we heard from the -- -- there.

About what people could do to honor him at this time what do you think -- his friend and colleague we can do to honor Neil Armstrong.

I I couldn't possibly they have better than -- -- -- come to look at that the moon.

And do.

You know.

Think about all the places that we can go and could serve.

Our country and -- to serve up a goal and -- something that is bigger -- belt is is the ultimate.

-- -- so.

I think that's you know the best we can do and I planned look up at the moon and went to let myself.
