The storm is expected to strengthen as it moves across the Florida Straits waters are like a hot tub here ninety degree temperatures so we are expecting this to strengthen.

Rather quickly.

And then as we go further out in time.

This is going to travel a lot of Gulf of Mexico water and the waters are warm so we could see it category two.

Possibly even a major category three hurricane.

As it rushes up much across the coast Wednesday into Thursday and I just want to make mention that a lot of the computer models are trending westward.

So our new advisory comes out and 11 o'clock and I think new war lends.

We're going to be really cautioning you because if this storm comes anywhere near you near the coast that water is going to -- up and moved into Lake Pontchartrain and it could be really a terrible situation.

Just quick look at our future radar there's Tampa Monday the storm the -- bulk of the storm will be offshore but we're still going to see heavy rain high surf the potential for three to five feet of -- surge into Tampa Bay but the worst of the storm will be offshore however as -- her head into Tuesday this is one of our computer models this is a strong category two possibly a category three storm there's Pensacola there's mobile.

Gulf -- New Orleans there but again.

I just want to make mention that the computer models are trending more towards the west.

So the next advisories are really crucial the northern gulf you need to be on alert we already have hurricane watches for much of the northern and eastern gulf.

So the next 36 hours are gonna start to see hurricane conditions back to you will keep folks posted JD.
