A Fox News alert it is the first day of school in Baltimore Maryland and already we're sad to report a school shooting.

At a high school in Baltimore Perry hall high school as you can see in these pictures from our affiliate chopper there.

Perry hall high school student has been shot now.

It's a bit of a strange situation the authorities are saying that there is no active shooter at the school right now we don't know how they know that.

But that's the word from a police spokesman it was the first day of classes.

And again police say that there is no active shooter on the scene.
