A tropical storm I think forcing the GOP to scale back its conventional little bed for days and speeches and events.

Now squeezed into three Bay Buchanan as a senior advisor to governor Mitt Romney is our next -- -- nice to have you with us today.

It's my pleasure to be with you -- thank you there reading -- have note by Mike Allen of Politico that when he sat down with governor Romney has recently for an interview that the governor was a little under the weather had a cold wasn't feeling well having Dylan.

I understand he's done very very well -- get a little rest here and he'll be ready for Thursday night I guarantee you so one of the things are watching for today it's opening.

Convention they gaveled open everything up and what we expect to see is a big.

I debt clock it's it'd be center stage and we just share with our viewers that some of our taxpayer money.

Is being used tens of millions of dollars is being used to fund both conventions I'm curious if if -- cutting spending is something that the GOP in Mitt -- gonna be talking about.

Then why take any taxpayer money at all.

I don't know why that decision was made and I'm not privileged the information behind and I do know that that money is available for all parties.

And in order to make certain that we do have these events but I'll tell you what the importance of the convention itself there's.

Is that we have an ability and these couple days to reach the American people directly un filtered to let them know.

Really what their choices are November here we have an opportunity to.

To present the governor is vice presidential pick Paul Ryan and in -- are -- what we offer to the people.

As opposed to what they're getting in the last four years and I think that's critical.

Opportunity in very very important to the future of the nation the direction and nations is going to be turned around if they have a chance to see.

What the governor offered so let's talk a little bit about what the governor -- that we're looking at a Washington Post ABC news poll that asked whether or not those polled felt confident.

And the president's handling it because the economy and and the majority said they were not company with the president's handling of the economy but they also were not confident.

The majority and the ability for Mitt Romney to handle the economy so.

How you fix that what is Mitt Romney going to be telling the American people to instill more confidence that he is the man for the job.

Again that's excellent question I think you know there's so much.

In the last couple months that it was unclear for many Americans as to where we're going because it was so much little.

Talk about little issues and I I do of course was to blame the president for that I think they want distraction we.

Talk about the big issue is where we are today as Americans there's so many millions of them suffering.

Say that unemployment so high for the president to suggest this is -- new normal the people have to get used to this.

I think that's one of the key points of the governor Romney is that we do offer a real contrast -- -- opposing point of view and his messages.

That -- and we can have a better tomorrow.

We can do better.

Americans are able to do it the government would just let them and that's what he offers survey is energy polishing yours tax policy or cutting that deficit.

So that it gets toward the most towards a balanced budget with all Americans understand is essentially we'll -- For the specifics that we expect to hear some of them throughout the next couple days to ask you about one more thing -- -- -- -- message and that is governor Romney's reference.

To pop by over the last couple days even within did an interview with Chris Wallace.

-- -- fine line I am what I am that's all what I am and I'm doing my very best to try and get this country back contract.

They they've heard of cannot but if you have been there -- now what I hit running -- -- even -- -- -- finish like where is this come from.

We're.

We're relating to middle America for heaven's sakes Jenny.

Yeah yeah.

-- and this is Julianne and I I think it's a wonderful analogy quite honestly because it gives you -- little insight.

Really isn't he just a man it's very serious about -- in the country around.

Given that given America a real boost a better tomorrow for everybody opportunity twelve million jobs -- new energy sector -- A -- reviving the energy sector if you like hate any American needs it.

Day and Ronnie comes out dressed like olive oil then all bets are off on -- and after.

Got it back to talk more about it and relay -- -- -- -- -- -- yeah it's great to have -- -- with -- I appreciate that we look -- to have you -- very good thank you.
