Meantime hundreds of earthquakes shaking Southern California.

The US Geological Survey is describing it as a rare seismic swarm.

The last one like it hit in the 1970s some of these quakes reach the magnitude of five point three.

They were felt as Far East as Arizona William -- and -- live in Los Angeles he has the latest for us old.
