Welcome back everybody -- pleased to see you let me.
Let me tell you that all this week -- Democrats have been bending over backward to remind women.
That.
You know they.
That they're Republicans often.
Have situation with abortion that can be very tough.
Can be very tough for some.
Pro choice women and pro choice Republicans to take.
Gillian -- joins us for the first time she's -- Romney campaign -- are also very very active.
In women's issues.
She was the chairman of the women's committee for Meg Whitman.
When she ran for governor of California and also for Arnold Schwarzenegger.
She.
-- moderated or pro choice Republicans certainly are you vanishing species.
I'm not a vanishing species I'm here I'm very loud and I were very very vocal.
And I really hate that the media's portraying us that way because we do have this seat at this table we are stating.
The -- the -- -- that there has to be some amendments to this party's platform.
That abortion really is very very dangerous to keep in this platform and even more dangerous -- probably be near the except not X making rape and incest exception.
So Mitt Romney says that rape and incest are.
Valid exceptions to an abortion ban and yet the plank says no exceptions.
No way and -- and Paul Ryan and coauthored a bill that suggested that same.
Language yes same very clear cut you know who knows you -- abortion no way never.
Don't you think that the Democrats are trying very hard to remind women.
Of that plank in the platform and won't they therefore you know try to.
Exacerbated and accelerate.
That that hold gender gap that.
Exists in this you know the surveys indicated does -- -- it actually does exist but what I really have a problem with this.
We have to fight for that's okay we have to fight for change within this party and abortion is it and -- -- in attack on our personal freedom.
But this is part of a much bigger issue with women we are fighting for our rights across the board.
So this is it to -- this the Democrats define the Republican Party on this issue is not acceptable to me and I don't think it's -- -- to -- any woman.
In this -- -- do you fear that the abortion issue will cost votes.
It will -- that.
It will put -- -- I'd like to remind the women and that the moderate women in this party that we stand for much more than just best.
We stand for economic stability opportunity and current and I've got to tell you rather I -- at shelters and I have for my whole life.
And what -- showing up at shelters trying out the middle class they had no homes they had no hope they do not want a handout from Obama.
They want -- that's what they want they do not want band aids they want tools of success yes.
