But did reach out when he lost his majority.

This president didn't reach out when he lost his majority when he when he had majorities we understood way he ran roughshod did what he wanted to do and ignore the Republicans.

But -- we took the house and we said let's do something he did things like and invite Paul Ryan to the White House by trickery and then and then embarrass himself sure by ridiculing Ryan's program in front of them having brought into the in saying you haven't really like this.

I I don't know how effective this particular strategy would be -- I'm reelected I'll start compromising because.

It is that is only plant because there's some suggestions that there's a real good possibility the Republicans could win the senate to Republicans would have the senate.

And probably the house as well so the only thing he could do would be compromise and besides at this point it didn't look like he's got a plan to do anything the president.

Obama ran on hope and change he -- run on trust.

He's now running for reelection and clearly he can't run on trust in Washington you can be fierce partisans you can disagree.

And then you can find ways to come together there's pretty plenty of examples Orrin hatch and Ted Kennedy would be one of them that everyone knows.

It's OK to disagree it's not okay to say you're gonna do some things and then not do it and unfortunately the American people can pretty well tell.

That this president is not -- -- reach out after the election when he never has another election to face.

Well chairman there's only been one example I can remember of a compromise over the last couple years it's Ron Wyden and now Paul Ryan came together.

On some have a cosponsor reform and I understand there's been some blowback from -- Ron Wyden from other Democrats say why do you do that.

Why do you think did Republicans should be the ones who should be envisioned as people that -- compromised what evidence do we have that you guys -- -- look at a couple of.

Was this a good question and and -- hasn't just been compromising with Paul Ryan he was helpful and so -- -- something that was bipartisan.

That's where Paul Ryan has a history of a public history for fourteen years it's a reason that he thought he is elected -- democratic seat.
