In this election has been the so called war on women Democrats continuing to say that the GOP's policies will -- women.
But females in the Republican Party are now pushing back in our next guest says that the president's war is flat out.
-- -- -- -- Joining me now is former presidential candidate congresswoman Michelle Bachmann.
Good to see Michelle did -- congresswoman I should say I know so well let out at where we're selling -- to each other so what do you make of this war on women Sandra Fluke who started the whole contraception discussion is going to be.
Speaking at the DNC next week.
Isn't really a war on women from GOP plan do.
Absolutely not it's the biggest -- you've ever seen.
And it's because President Obama can't talk about his record the economy is flailing so they have to do anything they can and of course.
President Obama hit performed formerly well with women he's trying to get women.
So he's trying to create this phony narrative that somehow we don't like women -- Governor Nikki Haley who's a real rising star is going to be on the lineup tonight we have so many accomplished women and our agendas Republicans and we have kind of a ground floor we believe that women are competent they are capable they are intellectual and so -- come to this just -- the foundation.
That women I can handle their own lives and we want to empower -- even further we've got such a positive agenda.
Unfortunately -- Obama has hurt women terribly economically.
And their economic process.
Texas ballot especially prospects for their children and I think that's what the Romney Ryan ticket offers is a better way out -- -- -- -- you would know because you were the only female on the Republican side to run for president this year that's right so you are a role model than in the GOP for other women up and coming.
Well yes and also.
Both parties Democrat Republican only the Republican Party had a woman who won the first contest which is Iowa straw poll.
That woman would read meat and so we are party of women we fielded an African American candidate Herman Cain a female candidate in me.
Is that we're a very diverse inclusive party and I think when people look at our agenda and see more.
Tonight tomorrow night Thursday night out -- TV screen they're gonna see where -- wide party that has a lot to offer for the future security for our nation.
One of the big things at the president said in an interview over the weekend with the HP was that.
If reelected.
Would want to compromise with Republicans.
You as a -- -- I mean I'm wondering how you feel about that -- he's only had four years and it had been first two years of his term he had Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid ran the entire show Democrats -- every lever of power.
And they got socialized medicine they got the take over the banking industry of the student loan industry one industry after another.
And so the real consequences of where our economy -- that right now is -- -- of the president's policies so now on the president conveniently says sometime in the future maybe you have.
He'll compromise that's really an elusive.
Policy because he could compromise today why wait until the election the American people are hurting today.
We have all sorts of bills that we've already passed out of the house is let's get -- to the senate the president can compromise today why wait.
What why do you think then that the congressional job performance rate is is so -- 64%.
How do you rate the way that congress is doing its job 64%.
Say who -- It's obviously the American people are also blaming members of congress along the way -- I can understand why because their lives aren't getting any better the House of Representatives as I said.
We passed multiple bills who sent them to the senate where they die this story -- Harry Reid said.
This is unbelievable he's the head of the senate he said I'm not going to do anything this year.
They should be fired over there.
And I think the president should be castigating Harry Reid in saying get something done so I can compromise with Republicans the president unfortunately isn't advancing.
And neither -- -- so we can pass all the bills -- -- the house but if they don't go anywhere at the seventh the president.
The American people are the ones who lose that's not right we want the American people to win and that's why we're trying to do everything that we can.
To change out the president and change out Harry Reid is the leaders so that we can actually get something done for the good of the American people.
I know that you're going to be enjoying yourself over the convention regarding -- our overall well all week I really a lot of speeches in such good to see you think they might as -- -- -- let's go over to.
