-- got some good digs here challenge.

But -- the home away from home nicely done.

Where about thirty minutes away now from an expected arrival of Mitt Romney and -- Romney arriving here in Tampa by way of Boston.

Mrs.

Romney -- deliver again one of the currencies most anticipated speeches later tonight.

On the trail she's one of her husband's most effective.

Backers and tonight she will tell the country about the Mitt Romney that only she knows she and it -- live in Tampa what's that -- Shannon good morning to you.

-- -- good morning he was well we understand that -- still putting some final touches on the speech right now and it's you're discussing with the previous guess it's gonna be about humanizing Mitt Romney the man he is the husband the father the grandfather.

That's the message she wants to communicate tonight so here's a little bit more about -- Romney.

My -- and running in Romney is that's and much more cheerleader confidant.

You know surrogate.

All of the above she's become a constant presence on the campaign trail we're not gonna take it anymore we're taking -- -- -- -- Wife and -- to five boys my career choice was to be a mother.

And I think all of us need to -- that we need to respect choices that women make she felt the need to respond to charges that she as -- wealthy stay at home mom quote never -- today in her life of those things that I actually did physically to take care of the house and the children and the bills and all the things which.

Some people think that I didn't work that -- you know those -- -- -- I was very busy doing it together the Romney's -- face the glare of the public spotlight with swipes at things like for pricey wardrobe.

And the private pain of her battles with multiple sclerosis and breast cancer -- -- she says made her more compassionate.

And woman -- of taking heat for being out of touch with average Americans including her involvement in the high dollar equestrian sport of drew -- Ronnie says horse riding is an alternative therapy she wants to make accessible to all.

For now -- mission is to make sure the country sees more than just a candidate.

He is a funny guy and he's spontaneous and he's.

Got a great sense of humor.

But I will tell you these are serious issues that he's talking about it -- this is a serious race this is serious times.

And tonight in primetime we will hear from and -- try to communicate that other side of her husband's potential voters out there.

And by the -- we're gonna sit down with her got a one on one exclusive with her her first one after her speech tomorrow.

And we'll bring folks out a bit more about what she thinks about life on the campaign trail -- complaints would be should she become First Lady expect him.

And the first reaction that's great thank you looking forward to that thank you Shannon.

-- -- -- just saying tonight's a big night for mrs.

Romney and she has at time has been called sort of a secret weapon and of that -- campaign they think that she is very effective.

-- the candidates are here to talk about that.

Is get it just campaign communications director can't walk on -- very nice to be here you know he worked with Iran is a long time.

I have I was actually -- Romney's communications director last time she -- so obviously this is a very big night for them.

How are they feeling what are they telling you this morning a very going.

I've they're very very excited to be here in Florida.

And it's actually practicing your speech she started thinking about that's a long time ago when she realized that she was going to.

Be delivering -- speech of the convention so.

All of the words all of the sentiment she's going to be speaking from the heart and that's where she's gonna be -- is being able to talk about governor Romney.

As a husband a father and as a grandfather.

So what are their plans you're just telling me -- -- also he's coming down earlier than expected he's going to be here.

Yeah so he'll be in the hall tonight -- -- -- I I don't think you can keep him away from watching her give -- -- Will we see -- tonight we'll have to wait and see.

We'll surprise coming perhaps this evening is that ascent then pressed to make no seven think about as we head into this in out.

-- obviously when we take a look at some of the polls we're gonna pull up some numbers just you know as a backdrop here.

And they haven't proved in the categories that we're looking at first without -- head to head poll.

Which shows Obama Biden 44 -- Ryan 45 that's likely voters poll which percent against -- have now which is very significant as well.

Among women so much is talked about in terms of the gap.

President Obama that was won handily over time McCain last time around with women that according to our poll is 4842 some of them are not as close as as that one.

In terms of your approach for the the sort of winning the email but obviously this does not mean we'll play a role in that but he's he's -- -- has got to sell the -- what was Sarah -- is -- He can talk about what governor Romney has been like -- the husband father and grandfather and there's no better surrogate talk about it Romney and Romney they've known each other for.

45 years have been married for 43.

And they are at they're -- they're very good here and I think you'll see that from the speech tonight but in terms that.

About governor Romney has the opportunity to communicate the contrast between what President Obama has done with this economy which impact.

Millions of women remember that there are 23 million Americans that are employed.

And millions of those are women there are more women in poverty now than when President Obama first took office and that's -- big deal.

And so when you when you look at the contrast of what governor Romney has proposed persist that the track that President Obama has not it's a very clear choice for women to see.

The kind of like that that governor Romney has led what -- what he has done in the private sector.

What he has done that and the Olympics and how he's fled his life at that as a father and a grandfather and -- have been.

You know curious one of it.

The like ability issue there was a very pretty wide golf and it and the polls for a while it seems like those numbers and we have.

Look at those that we can pull up as well in terms of favorability.

Have also improved somewhat over recent weeks what I think.

Inside of this campaign what this changed.

In the past couple of weeks Paul -- came on for one thing.

How is he relating to voters that has moved these numbers do you thing.

Well what assays that people are starting to pay attention and we now have the opportunity that voters are taking a look at this -- -- -- that that big contracts in the big.

Differences and visions between.

Governor Romney and President Obama and you've -- governor Romney go out there more and he's talked about his vision for the future.

And -- I think that that probably played that a pretty good there's a big reason why that those numbers change.

-- on a personal level do you find him to be more confident now that he's about to be named the nominee it was a long hard stop here that there had.

Senators confidence they're absolutely -- You know like I -- tonight at America's going to be in for a treat with -- Romney delivering her speech.

And -- a remarkable way and tonight she's gonna take the stage in American voters are gonna have the chance to see that so.

And we're just really excited however and we may -- -- -- this evening as well as time I have to wait and see -- I can't get -- thank you sound like they are -- pilot -- speaking with you.

Throughout the course of the next guy says 6568.

Days -- we got lag and good luck thank plotting -- we're about to.
