Fortunately.

President Obama's campaign is trying to divide America.

To separate us into groups.

Telling seniors.

Medicare will be taken away.

Telling Hispanics.

That we are not welcome here.

And sending the vice president.

To preach a message of division.

It's tragic.

How far we've come from hope.

And change.

At that -- Texas senate candidate Ted -- speaking right here in Tampa tonight he says Democrats are going to try to.

Frightened the Hispanic community Ted Christiane just IC is they're.

And it's great to be with you I -- you -- -- -- -- seen in the past that the Hispanic community is profoundly conservative.

-- quote I think that's exactly right well tell me because there has been set to divide -- I think typically the Hispanic vote has been more the democratic vote.

Well I think the values that resonate Hispanic community they they -- face.

Family patriotism in a lot of people don't know the rate of military enlistment among Hispanics is higher than any demographic in the country.

And beyond then.

Hard work responsibility.

Providing for your -- cultural conservative values.

And I -- problem a lot of Republicans have had as they haven't done an effective job conveying those values that our values and their values are one and saying.

We've got the problem here was sort of the elephant in the room -- -- Vegas literally -- is.

Illegal immigration.

And that has at least is that -- -- made me to speak the Hispanic community but that they have felt that this.

You know that the illegal immigration thing that -- -- more they haven't been happier with so the democratic approach to the Republican approach.

Well I think there are a lot of Democrats that that want people to believe that I'll tell you and the Hispanic community.

Most Hispanics -- -- open borders I actually think the immigration issue is pretty straightforward what most Americans want and what most Hispanics want.

Is for us to secure the borders and stop illegal immigration.

And at the same time remain a nation that doesn't just will -- legal immigrants but that celebrates.

Americans by choice is what Ronald Reagan called legal immigrants who follow the rules and come here seeking the American dream.

Are you going to be hitting the campaign trail card that issue because in that because of the the deficit in terms of the to Hispanic vote Republican Party.

Well we're hitting the campaign trail hard every single day eighteen hours a day and I'll tell you what I think the major.

Issue facing the country as -- is this election in November.

He is about a fundamental choice.

About continuing down the road of the Obama Democrats more and more spending more and more debt and more and more government control of the economy and our lives.

We're getting back to our founding principles of free markets to individual responsibility.

To individual liberty.

Communicate that -- -- this -- it's all these -- eloquent speech is free breakfast and got again via communicate to the families we act -- give in to really feel it.

Well you communicated by carry the message I try to -- -- tonight talking about.

What matters when you get down to -- in my personal experience Monday it was an immigrant from Cuba.

He came here after being imprisoned and tortured showed up in Texas with a hundred dollars and his underwear not speaking English.

Wash dishes making fifty cents an hour to pay his way through college and start a small business now that's the American dream and it's the story of all of us.

How you want they didn't everything that's against you know you're gonna win the F primer of what what what what -- was.

Quite think you want -- -- -- was two -- it was message and it was the grassroots.

Message is simple which is.

We're going broke and voters are fed up with career politicians in both parties.

Who had gotten us in this mess and they're looking for new leaders who will roll up their sleeves stop spending money we don't have turn around the debt and get back to the constitution.

And then secondly was grass -- this was a victory.

Four Republican women for Tea Party leaders for conservative grassroots all of -- united.

And all of whom want our victory in this primary and how they have a pause -- and see what the polls that have feared for the general election.

We would that there have not been any polls done yet in the general in the primary was won by fourteen points and I think conventional wisdom puts us in a very strong place in the general.

But you know there's an old line -- to -- to run scared and unopposed I'm not unopposed so we're gonna run eighteen hours a day every day.

Carrying -- message the voters detects one last question said snag your speech that they're trying to scare the heck out scare people.

Well I I think that's right and I think there's really -- a sharp divide if you look at Tea Party if you look at the message.

Of the Romney -- campaign it's focus on values that unite us it's focused on liberty.

It's focused on the unlimited potential of free men and -- women and small businesses to work to achieve the American dream.

The Obama campaign got a wanna talk about the economy doesn't want to talk about 23 million Americans out of work so what are they doing they're trying to scare and divide us.

That's their strategy and it really is sad.

From a campaign that just four years ago with cell aspiration.

And they've given that up now and they're going unfortunately.

They eat it in a way that is not good for this country and I don't think it's gonna work it's not what Americans are looking for.

I think even after joining -- nice to see you.

Great to see -- thanks for having me -- up next tech.
