-- doesn't like to talk about how he's helped others because he sees -- as a privilege.

Not be political talking -- BC mister president really ears don't follow polls real leaders change polls.

We can afford it.

Any more disappointments.

We need a new direction.

We need a new president.

Did did our America.

This -- the America we know because we are now six.

It.

Some quick takes from the first night of the Republican National Convention so what did the best job and did the GOP.

Accomplish what it wanted to so far let's go to out of Tampa and ask Fox News contributor and author of fifty things liberals love to hate which came out yesterday Mike Gallagher great to CO.

Pay a penny or good morning to you so let's start with Chris Christie get some mixed reviews what do you think.

Well.

I mean -- what you what you get what what is she is what you get with Chris Christie I mean he's not gonna miss an opportunity to tell you what a great job he's done as governor of New Jersey.

You know he's he's kind of a typical New Jersey guys he's confident he's little cocky ease up brash.

But he also talked about the thirst that Americans have for leadership in the importance.

Of having a leader who who tells the people the truth you know and say what you will about Chris Christie he's a he's a tough talking straight shooter.

Who sort of reminded everybody that we've got a president in office who really doesn't mean what he says -- says what he means so you know I I I liked it.

He also said that a leader if they are that they wanna be loved but it's more important to be respected.

And that you should always choose that and made some references to President Obama not preferring the love of the people rather than not leave the truth.

Well that's what a lot of Americans are too.

Let me -- and all over the country it day in and day out people are frustrated over this president's pension.

Four for this touchy Feely hope and change -- And I think that last night sort of set this set the tone for the week here that listen we didn't build this you know we we we our companies we are.

But corporations we are entrepreneurs.

And I just thought it was it was -- it was a good message from Chris Christie although for me.

The hit of the night I'm in love.

With -- Merrill love from Saratoga Springs Utah I thought she knocked it out of the park -- and who would have thought that that a young black woman.

Would would would evoke images of Ronald Reagan.

At the 2012.

Republican National Convention but she was extraordinary.

I loved her theme of -- first heard the tell her to tell her story and what we can accomplish.

And frankly -- and I love the fact that most of the night really wasn't directed that brought President Obama was about what we could be as Americans and what we've accomplished.

And what and and you know hope -- hope open for better days ahead.

And mayor love as you mentioned dive right now the mayor of -- Saratoga Springs in Utah also running for congress.

A Haitian American you talk talk a lot about her own story through this video.

That was presented so you see her as a rising star -- expect big things from her.

All I mean you know listen it was Barack Obama who electrified the Democratic National Convention -- which -- in in what seems like eon ago.

This this unknown from Illinois who's sort of you know was the rising star I think -- -- love.

Who -- what is our version of that last night I mean this is a lady who really came out of nowhere for most Americans and they appreciated her her heartfelt story about and she took a jab at that President Obama which frankly is a red meat.

Guy who just wrote a book fifty -- liberals love to hate.

You know I like that red meat I like the pitchforks and torches and I like a lady who says.

You know President Obama you know tears down what's great about America but we can rise up sorry I thought she was the hit of the evening parent.

Mike Gallagher we're gonna have to leave it there you plug the book so we won't have to do that again looking -- and Romney -- are trying to do storm coverage as well but thank you so much for joining us you -- petty and our rob.
