I can't tell you what will happen over the next four years but I can only stand here tonight.

As a wife and a mother and a grandmother I -- American.

And made you this solemn commitment.

This man will not fail.

Yeah man will not let us down.

This man will lift up America.

That -- -- Romney in a deeply personal testimonial to her husband.

At the Republican Convention last night -- some are describing it I trying to rally the party and Americans watching.

To get behind governor Romney how does she do when the questions we're asking today didn't -- very sound of Oklahoma also talk to that.

Convention last night she's joining us live from Tampa nice to have you back on the program governor.

Thank you did it could be leaking -- through quick last time we talked we were talking about wildfires near straight how are Aaron your state -- our friends in Oklahoma doing today.

They're -- -- better in fact we probably will get some rain from this storm that has come through New Orleans -- move on up.

Little bit into Oklahoma and we sure need that the -- from our draft and we just went and checked in because we knew how bad those wildfires were for you right you know -- got a lot of folks talking in weighing in about the speech is a lot of experts if you will political -- And -- isn't great sound firm she gentlemen out an El Paso, Texas that were sitting around in a bar watching this station I wanna.

Playing their reaction for you and and get that response has -- listen to that.

I think -- I found myself.

Thinking about my wife because I took -- home from the -- -- a dance when I was younger I have 34 years of marriage with my life -- raised one son.

And it didn't change my mind because I was gonna vote for him anyway but it did make me understand a little better.

That.

You know he had some of the same trials and tribulations I did growing up.

We -- how much money years.

She didn't say a whole lot I think mostly that and that you can really hold on to -- issues.

But I don't think that was her.

That was her main concern with trying to create interest and support and enthusiasm.

For Mitt Romney.

So we have one voter -- in support of -- -- that's undecided.

It just your response to their reaction and what do you think the Republican Party has to do next in his speeches that are coming.

I thought Enron and he did a super job last night you know their -- to -- over the convention center.

People really listening with anticipation about her telling about the man Mitt Romney that has spend the father the grandfather.

And mark had a Manny he will be as President Bush did a great job about that you want things I heard that the two -- talk about was.

Now they were able to think about connect to remember are part of they're growing up with the with their spouses and their families and health.

And Romney relate some stories about some struggles that they face a lot of challenges just like any married couple woods Jim and I was listening to that does -- -- comment about things.

As saying came back to it to me and it says.

People don't care how much you know.

Until they know how much you care and Ann Romney was trying to show.

Then Mitt Romney truly does care about America he truly cares about his family in the way he takes care of his family will be the way you'll take care of America and I think that's what people want to know that -- have a president that -- listen to their problems try to find solutions he's obviously very successful businessman.

He's been able to turn around a state never turn around the Olympics he knows what he's doing he takes charge and I think she gave him a great message last night.

So what is being the conversation visas pieces that come up posts this speech though.

Is so little concern that maybe and Romney might outshine her husband he hear that coming up in some conversations and I'm curious scene a year powerful woman.

Oklahoma does not have a First Lady and the first husband's at this point in so how do you navigate that personally -- a personal level.

As a woman that's in a position of power and how do you think the Republican Party should navigate that.

To attract voters but not diminish.

Debt and they want folks to vote for Mitt Romney not just -- -- and Ronnie talked about the personal side of Mitt Romney and and the families trying to.

-- -- -- neck that there's a personal side -- him that can relate.

To regular people.

Struggles that people just -- it's up tomorrow when -- yes when Mitt Romney speaks his job will be to show that strong leadership.

A guy with big -- that big solutions that we'll tackle the issues that are facing America.

They want to see someone who understands their concerns you can see experience -- hands of vision has a leadership.

And I think we'll see that type the speech tomorrow night from Mitt Romney -- specific do you want him to get when it comes to policies in which policies.

Well I think he needs to show a clear contrast between where -- bombing has been taking our nation.

And where he will take our nation certainly many people are very concerned about the debt the deficit they're concerned about jobs are concerned about their children's feature.

The concerned about the federal government overreach that.

The growing size of the bureaucracy -- -- and Mitt Romney needs to distinguish himself in his vision for tomorrow in which he has.

With his platform -- -- -- -- tell that there will be a change there will be a difference in to where he will take this country.

Governor Palin nice to have -- back on the program thank you for the time today in the -- having you back.

Thank you saw as -- to be with you.
