There's less to say yeah it's always -- -- -- -- -- -- tell if it is it's sort of extra fun to have a close friend of yours as the vice presidential nominee in the public -- it's just cool it really is it is -- -- really I couldn't be happier for ball.

Jana the whole family.

It's a very exciting time for us in the house to the -- one of our colleagues.

Actually -- -- -- stays like this.

Trying to affect some of the policy changes that we've been working on -- the last several years I he's not new to this whole business about that he's -- a policy -- is that a fair description absolutely.

Absolutely yeah Paul you know I first met him when we certainly.

Tax writing committee together Ways and Means Committee.

And ever since that I'm not that he is very intrusive.

In things budget in in the economy.

And and really how to make governments -- right size.

So we can hold true those principles of economic freedom and a very Jeffersonian vision of a limited responsible government.

Out as you know watching it'll -- did you know that.

You think yeah I -- right after -- and Cashman then how until we which -- I understand people can have differences of opinions and that it.

He described.

Constant Paul Ryan.

I'm Wednesday's calculated cynical effort to confuse seniors and a -- seniors just how bad the Romney Ryan plan it would be.

Out.

That is so Washington and I -- listening to that would just try and remove all the nasty as it to us and that verbs and stick to the facts here.

And the facts are.

-- put forward a budget.

That actually provoke proposes a solution to the real problems that we're facing in this deficit.

When we all know that the federal government's made promises now that it can't afford to keep.

And so we're trying to save the safety net for those who truly need it.

And then get about the business of re generating economic activity in the private sector.

Unlike the president we believe.

That it is men and women in business who actually build those businesses and can be successful.

Without necessarily the big hand of government steaming its.

Well I suppose you aren't you you realize -- had the advantage of operate a lot more you have it.

Maybe it may be unrealistic than tell on everybody to tighten the belt and they want -- a much much easier message to south so how do you sell.

Your Republican message that.

People have to -- about.

But you know I think it's much like Chris Christie -- last night in his address to -- commenced -- delegates.

You know I don't think we should underestimate the American people -- the Smart you know wisdom there's a reason why our country has.

Then -- leading country for so many years and the world's only superpower.

Economically and militarily.

And -- the reason is I think the American people get it.

They get that you can't have something for nothing and then they understand that we do need to be a country compassion and a have a safety net there for people who need it.

But you know we also want to provide.

The avenue for those who actually wanna go -- their success -- -- most of the American people who are really dying to get out there and start building businesses and growing again.

-- -- -- a minute and we -- they still hit it.

Cut for others it seems but don't cut from me you know it that I think that's the hard message to heart -- that the Republicans might have is that that we -- There are there are certain things that the Republicans are proposing that cut.

That people just don't want that -- the important piece of what what is realistic or not understand.

-- -- I think there again supporting the folks on the facts and and Paul Ryan's budget what we do is wait hold harmless everybody who's 55 and older.

Wouldn't have any reduction in benefits but it's for the rest of us who try and plan for the future is so you know -- We have to do things differently and we put in place a formula whereby.

Individuals can begin to have their own choice about the health care coverage that they need not have Washington intervene and say -- so.

And again this this is -- several decades debate Grata in Washington as to how to control these these spiraling.

Health care cost that's the as we know that the.

But the Democrats that I had I had to breakdown of what sound -- but the Democrats basically their theme is even in.

-- -- wanna cut it was seven and that's the -- that's the message different train up there and what we want trying to do is give the facts out there in the.

Facts -- it is President Obama.

Who has implemented massive cuts.

Massive cuts cuts in Medicare including.

Very popular programs like -- prescription drug program and Medicare Advantage massive cuts involved in doing that with the passage of obamacare.

Let it serve extraordinary -- of the cross talk to Washington and -- -- -- -- trying to get their messages.

And -- I guess the real group that everyone's trying to reach of the undecideds.

-- You get your message the inside it's.

You know I think -- as you know from Virginia and we are one of those really critical states just like this one this election.

And they will come down to the election.

In.

Very few states and it will be the five -- 6% of the undecideds that are gonna make or break this election for Mitt Romney Paul Ryan.

And so how we get to them is I think talk.

To them and -- lay and make our case in terms of how we're gonna make life life and work.

For the suburban mom in Richmond Virginia -- small business person -- -- -- Virginia.

While they're struggling right now wondered how they're gonna get through the month pay the bills.

It is our solutions -- are gonna make it easier for them to plan for their.

Kids' college education and paying for their parents' health care costs.

These kinds of things I think that you're -- -- hear tonight from Paul Ryan and tomorrow night for Mitt Romney we certainly heard it last night from Enron.

Act out would get we have we interviewed debt custom all right brother he -- -- behind the scenes tell us that.

His brother can't dance you're one of the young guns -- harassment up McCarthy and -- -- what don't we know about him that you know that the rest of us don't know.

Well -- you did -- I think Greta -- -- you sat down with the three of us with calling Kevin and me and we talked about sort of what brought us together.

And it was -- real commitment to finally trying to.

Enlist the support of others who really want to go to Washington fix problems.

Go and fight for the cause not just for one's career.

And he -- is a very dedicated person to that -- You know and and I think that I'm hoping that people are gonna hear that tonight I'm hoping people in here that he's a real family man.

Knowing we don't always a fan have a -- but -- that I.

Okay what they're going to know that but every coming out with MCI know a little bit more about -- the other -- did tonight seven you know I don't.

Well I don't know about the -- -- I do know that when people see.

-- he's also very hip.

You know he's he's he's very I was does it ever was not so that's yeah he's my New York friends -- agreement that they're part of the excitement I think you feel here in Tampa about.

Paul is is he's young he's energetic.

He brings this new connectivity to the next generation for our party.

And Paul walks around the hill with his iPod on.

You know and so the real -- would be to find out what's on that iPod but what I'm about to tell that there by that.

That you're kind of hit his brother says -- can't dance that we now have the two -- bound to -- out obviously TCU.

Thank you for joining us.

His credits was there.
