Good evening I'm Bret Baier coming to you from the floor of the Republican National Convention here at the Tampa Bay form -- -- bay times form.

And awaiting the main event Mitt Romney will accept the nomination tonight and the veteran businessman will lay out the reasons why America should fire Barack Obama.

And hire him as the next president.

We begin our coverage with our chief political correspondent Carl -- On a reconstructed stage without -- security specifically for his address.
