My point -- -- President Obama this all around the country became our town went to our plans.
And said this will be open on the hundred years we get the coverage for you.
Because Obama won the election he put his policies in place this plan as close a lot of my -- -- from high school part of work.
So what this is a story -- his all the empty promises.
By the Obama campaign.
Congressman Ryan talking to me last hour about some of the fact checks that have been going on Democrats pressing.
Saying that some of the things the congressman said in his speech last night were not true.
One of them about a GM plant in Janesville Wisconsin we're back with the panel.
What about this that the controversies that the plant may have closed ever did -- December 2008.
Under George W.
-- well that the big problem with their claim that Paul -- line is that it's not true.
What happened was Paul Ryan did in fact said.
President Obama he didn't blame President Obama for the closing of the the company wouldn't say it was President Obama failed.
In his claim that he would save it it's a fairly straightforward case and I don't understand why it caused so much confusion about what happened.
-- staff cutter from the Obama campaign.
-- -- in the middle of Paul Ryan's remarks and basically said that plant closed under George W.
That's not true which -- -- is not true that we did not close.
During George W.
Bush there were plans to close it fortunate to put it on standby.
But it didn't close to what she actually said wasn't true and what you had was a press corps that repeated this even though it's not true.
And it came right from the White House you would have thought that they would -- learned their lesson with the the Charles Churchill bust.
From the Obama campaign casing.
Remember why it is that they're talking about this -- mean Romney has an issue here because he has very strongly oppose the auto bailout over the course of the past year or so and that is an issue in states like Wisconsin and Michigan and Ohio which of course are all critical.
In the fall and so they have to figure out a way to sort of be able to tell Americans that the auto bailout was positive for the US without -- -- reversing his position throws the other point that was made was that congressman Ryan said that the president did not lead on Simpson Bowles the deficit debt commission.
A commission report that comes in Ryan voted against.
But -- was very clear at the time.
Precisely why he voted against it he liked a lot of that the tax reform he's in favor -- -- -- proposed.
Himself the same things he opposed that he would sign on the dotted line at the end.
Because he objected to the fact that Simpson -- accepted in -- Obama care.
-- an extra one point seven trillion dollars in spending.
And therefore an extra one point seven actually one point eight trillion dollars in taxation he was against the whole idea.
He said the main reason for our deficits.
His health care and we need Health Care Reform -- how -- you have a commission that accepts that.
Which is the driver of our -- he said that let's do it another way he proposed a different way.
To control health care costs this is going to get interest thing as we have these continued fact checks of the fact checks -- Mean I think it first of all I think the fact checking which is now a pretty.
Big cottage industry.
But I don't know if it really matters because neither of these campaigns seem to mind at all if they get tend to Nokia through some of these things.
I do think that the Simpson tells the story is really interesting because some symbols neither campaign is embracing it but they both want the influence of some polls even though they're not willing to come out and actually say where we want this to be the starting place -- -- -- Obama as a guy who proposed -- organize it and then tried to have been.
Negotiate and then -- Boehner based on it.
But when the commission reported he completely abandoned it.
And he never -- I -- voted against down the row one word do we hear Simpson -- in the general election a lot.
I don't know I think Obama on or -- -- I hope so okay now he's good enough.
Now that so we ended as -- but the battle back.
