A troubling new report on Iran's nuclear program says Iran is increasing its nuclear capabilities and stockpiling enriched uranium.
The report also says Iran has double the number of machines that could be used to make the core of nuclear warheads and -- in an underground bunker.
Securities expert doctor Jim Wallace joins us with his take on the latest disturbing developments doctor wants.
They did so much for your time today I you've had a look at some of this report what surprised you this the most or were you surprised.
Well I guess I wasn't too surprised we've had a series to be Shannon.
A quarterly reports and with each report you -- that Iran is sort of incrementally building its capability and -- enriching more and more material in this particular case I think the surprise was.
At that underground facility that you referred to -- really made a lot of progress I think maybe all the war talk all the talk coming out of Israel of a possible strike up focused on their mind and they spent much more efforts trying to build centrifuges.
At that underground facility -- -- to say that the -- is under IAEA inspection.
And those new centrifuges haven't been turned on they haven't been used yet so it's it's not a dire situation but -- it shows steady progress on the part of Iran.
I that you mentioned Israel and -- want to mention something they came from prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu today saying that it's time for world powers to city clear red line.
On Iran's nuclear activity how quickly do you think that was to the U -- is it to the broader international community inning basically signaling.
You're not getting the job done.
Yeah I mean this has been pretty consistent thing from the Israeli prime minister war.
At least a year probably longer I think that's and yes -- the United States but it's also -- at the so called.
Often on in negotiation with Iran over the last several years.
You know I think the president president Obama's been pretty clear about what his red line is.
His red line is Iran will not acquire nuclear weapon and if they make any move in that direction then.
The US will use whatever options necessary to stop that.
Israel has a different red line and they use that to try to.
You know nudge the negotiators.
And -- the other international parties.
You mentioned that.
The president what his red line is he's taken some criticism this week from the now GOP official nominee.
Mitt Romney -- -- to what he had to say this week.
Every American was relieve the day President Obama gave the order.
And seal team six took got -- -- -- bin Laden on another front every American is less secure today.
Because he has failed to slow Iran's nuclear threat.
-- -- doctor he did praise him for taking -- Mon but said that that the president has failed when it comes to this particular issue of the nuclear threat.
And we're also getting -- today that -- -- has signed a deal with North Korea.
-- -- laboratories to share technology.
How much responsibility is the current administration bears its fair appoint a secret -- that things of ramps up under their watch.
-- yes and they'll remember this program first came to light in 2003 when George W.
Bush was president and so what you know the program was.
Got what you know progressed and got bigger and bigger for five years with him and then continued with Obama I mean -- -- I think you know I think it's legitimate for him to say.
We haven't made more progress than we have but it takes two parties to negotiate.
And the president has put together fairly strong international coalition -- imposed sanctions but I think this is you know fair game I expect the candidates -- go back and forth on that over the next two months.
-- doctor Jeanne moss thank you very much always for your insights.
