Okay.
-- -- Oh yeah.
Well.
It's.
I had I had -- as just like that was -- -- -- six -- which you just saw don't be fooled by the man behind the curtain.
When it comes to who is running the show at the DNC Gingrich well he says even though labor unions aren't spending as much money and Charlotte compared to Denver back in 2008.
They're still call the shots.
Author of shadow shadow boxes Mallory factor joins us to explain good morning -- Mallory to be here.
So we just -- our own reporter Wendell -- -- quote Richard Trumka.
Was the head of one of the biggest unions that they're not going to be behind sky boxes this time around here that.
You say well why not find sky boxes but -- -- -- -- they're gonna have he himself said we're gonna have 400000.
People.
Out in the streets knocking on doors for Obama and -- he says that they're gonna spend half a billion dollars.
What you don't understand is the back room deals being cut.
They know that unions are not polling well right now.
And what they want to do they want to get that separation on the big public relations states.
Call the convention but behind the scenes that -- being cut scene tell me that the real -- -- -- expressed relief for choosing Charlotte, North Carolina right to work state.
Is all show.
It's a lot of -- show I mean they know what they're gonna do they know that Obama -- the union label president.
And they have to keep him in there where they are in trouble I mean this is a big show and that's what these conventions are and give us and they're targeting -- showed just right.
What is the hug a son -- Well behind the -- that they call themselves thugs and I just wanted no part thug in chief is going to be there.
Obama because he is the thug in chief he really represents the -- a -- is you go to losing get hugged by a union guy.
Yeah that's something just on the block in my -- bring our cameras in front of what exactly is about.
Put in the big picture.
When you talk about unions we hear about the diminishing impact of unions over the decades where -- it really in reality where is -- union membership.
Is around 12%.
Of our work force.
If you look around here you can you hear all the noise you think that -- over half they're 12%.
It is amazing.
The amount of -- they have and the reason is.
They have the bucks they have fourteen billion plus bucks that we could find that -- -- say -- was -- -- about fourteen -- taking your -- And a lot of that they used for political purposes and the use of mostly if not almost all for.
-- so is it are they trying to downplay their influence in this convention because.
A lot of attention that the unions have gotten not a great way like in the state of Wisconsin.
When they took on governor Scott Walker and arguably lost because he won his reelection is that why they're trying to dump it in.
-- -- -- As being upset.
But believe me they are behind him in terms of money in terms of people keep in mind Obama never came to Wisconsin.
If you come to Wisconsin could have turned out hundreds of thousands of people in Milwaukee and Madison but he knew that that could hurt his reelect.
This is a very -- calculating campaign and they know what they're doing and they're doing it real well.
All right season Gallup numbers there as well I got married -- to -- -- that number three in the country in the New York Times list.
Congratulations on that channel bosses Chatham bosses is the name and it's all that -- discussed --
