I'm here tonight is a parent.
With two young children who attend a wonderful public school.
And no one no one has more at stake in this election that our nation's children.
And that's why collectively.
We need to reelect President Obama.
President Obama knows education isn't valid shops.
It's about giving every child is -- and secure middle class life.
And right now we're in a race for jobs and industries of the future.
If countries like China out educate us today they will out compete us tomorrow.
The president knows that education begins at home with parents who step up and take responsibility.
But he also believes that teachers matter.
And his first two years about this.
He helps save the jobs of 400000.
Educators.
It didn't just invest resource says he demanded reform.
And 46 states responded courageously.
By raising education standards.
The president also believes that teachers must be respected.
-- like the true professionals they are.
No teachers should have to teach -- attack.
And great teachers must be recognized and rewarded.
President Obama also knows that higher education is an economic -- -- -- -- He thought to keep student loan interest rates from going dot.
He thought for pell grant us.
He took the big banks out of the federal student loan program and pass the billions of dollars in savings on to our nation's young people.
And this year alone he helped nearly ten million students afford a college education.
The president knows that the path to the middle class goes right thrill America's classrooms.
That was his -- And that's America's path.
However.
His opponent believes very differently.
Under the -- Ryan budget education would be cut.
-- -- much as 20%.
Not take a minute and think about what that would really mean 200000.
Fewer children and head start.
Fewer teachers in the classroom.
Fewer resources for poor kids and students -- disabilities.
-- afterschool programs.
And ten million students to see their pell grant reduced putting higher education further round of greens.
And these cuts wouldn't somehow create jobs -- pay down the deficit.
Instead they would go towards a huge new tax cut but -- at the very top.
In order to cut taxes for millionaires and billionaires.
Governor Romney won't cut education.
To our nation's children.
That's the choice that's the choice in this election.
They see education as an expense.
-- Obama sees it as an investment.
And that's why our president needs more more years.
