You know -- you don't see very often in and and he he made an important argument for the Democrats he said look there.

Republicans wanna say this is a referendum it's it Democrats say it's a choice and he laid out what he felt were the successes of President Obama.

And in very very sharp terms.

He would say shredded the the Republican plans Republican budgets.

He used a tactic that they teach you back in.

In -- speech making back in college or high school now listen to be on this when this was important listen -- every time maybe you're fading a little bit it's it seemed like he got us re engaged.

There was so wagging their finger -- that he did -- he'll also he input gilts.

In certain parts that I thought was very interesting when -- started talking about Medicare and Medicaid and they said if we cut money from these programs think the ball the disabled.

And -- citizens of this country who can't use those programs.

What are they gonna do and you looked very serious and sat in thinking about that.

And now in their execution at this convention it's clear.

They believe they have a real -- with women it it it there is that is unmistakable.

They -- they're talking a lot about abortion rights Sandra flock obviously spoke early in prime time and she is -- -- to appeal to younger women women under forty and many single women who.

Support the president simply because are in many cases because of women's issues like abortion rights.

-- Michael what what she is the president challenged.

Unlike the president last night's challenge Clinton and tonight Obama.

I don't think he's gonna want to spend so much time knocking down the opposition.

But making a clear choice but really laying out his vision in his plan for a second term I think this is his moment to tell the country to tell us.

If he could what would he do in the second term yes the congress might not be cooperative book how do we build in in his words this economy the last what would you do if he could.

Who really hasn't had that opportunity and you know when we talk about the length of these speeches this is the only time.

That our political leaders whether elected or or someone like.

Get to talk directly to voters about things that matter to them not 32 ads not you know sliced and diced by journalists and the public really craves that kind of stuff.

So I think this is a group it was a an opportunity for governor Romney which I think he missed by not laying out his own agenda.

Last week and it's certainly an opportunity for the president even the president needs time like this to talk to the public in ways he can't on a normal -- Apparently so -- tonight quickly.

A lot about the president as commander in chief they know that they want to exploit that because governor Romney.

Did not speak much about national security for the wars and he will certainly do a lot to divert from the economy in order to tout that big success of his with his.

Selling us on the line.
