Where he had just three or four networks and people just didn't know much about you until you stepped on that stage of the convention.

So here we are with these horrible.

Unemployment numbers and wondering which way to go and I think Mitt Romney has a huge opportunity.

Because the issues are with the Republican Party -- big.

They are difficult they -- complicated they're gonna require a full airing an articulation I think he's up to the task.

And I think the next two months really want to be about getting us to the promised land articulating.

How we get.

This economy the greatest the world has ever known.

Back in fighting shape.

And that's gonna take.

I think three things that need to be vetted.

One -- tax reform we've talked a lot of about that already and I think there's a consensus is kind of emerging on Capitol Hill for how that will work.

The second is immigration reform and let's face it we need to get beyond the nativist rhetoric.

We need to recognize it for what it is and start seeing it as a legitimate economic development tool.

That -- store vitality that adds to our brain power and will be critical for future performance.

And the third.

Let's face it the greatest -- -- given recently.

Is shale gas.

I don't think we have any idea with this is gonna mean to -- US economy going forward and how it's going to boost our prospects for competitiveness.

When you consider that manufacturing businesses today.

Are dealing went economics that are more twelve dollars and fifty cent their per barrel oil prices as opposed to a hundred dollar per barrel this is a huge deal and we haven't even figured out -- to make it work longer term but that's in my tech issue why did you go to the convention.

What Bill Clinton did and I think brilliantly.

A lot of terribly complicated issues.

And he brought them into the living room he brought them to the heart and soul of people in ways where everybody could understand it.

He had an intelligent conversation with people who want an intelligent conversation.

They don't want to sound like they have -- people can have -- that and welcome.

And they want it and all the stuff about -- being stuck with these awful numbers c'mon this is the greatest economy the world -- ever -- -- we need to recognize -- that.

We're still waiting for the cycle to improve every quarter were waiting for cycle to cycle.

The cycle.

-- around anymore were facing a structural economic problem these numbers are structural in nature these unemployment problems.

They require a structural set of solutions.

Not temporary.

Sprinkling a little money here you're not that -- three fixes not -- government transfers of capital.

We -- structural solutions to deal with the structural.

Unemployment problem.

And that's where I think governor Romney has an opportunity stay -- the stand up on -- terribly complicated.

And and audacious proposals.

And -- bring him into the living rooms of Americans and to spell out in specificity.

How always going to get it done that's how it's gonna win the election and that's what the American people are.

Waiting for real quickly if he loses are you running and -- sixteen.

You gotta be crazy if you start thinking about politics this is soon after -- are you kidding I just can't believe -- veil is a must it's -- -- -- all but announcing but.
