Eleven years ago today the world changed forever when terrorists attacked the United States of America this morning we remember the lives lost on that fateful day.

As a nation continues to heal -- -- right now from ground zero Fox's.

His special guest in his good friend and how differently I LP.

Retired firefighter who not only lost his son Jonathan on 9/11 but also that cancer as a result of his work.

That good morning Brian you know it's a much different day today than eleven years ago.

Happy -- day in many respects.

Posted missing posters looking to their loved ones that would never come home thousands of people went to near downtown hospital and saint Vincent's hospital to donate blood.

To the victims who would never show up at those hospitals that so I asked this morning my dear friend.

-- I help me to come spend a few minutes with me here this morning.

In the shadow of ground zero in the new World Trade Center -- -- good morning -- It Lee is a hero.

And -- -- -- here on this quarter.

Maybe a dozen people believed him and wanted to have their picture that one at that picture because he was a hero firefighter.

He lost his hero firefighter son Jonathan search for his son for eight months in the rubble behind us.

And then develop cancer as a result.

Then went on to form the tributes -- -- behind -- -- what are you feelings today.

Is there -- where is their hope in your heart.

-- they can't be hey it was enough to accomplish anything with hey I think that's quite obvious.

Hope hope is always there you know I spoke to many people over the eleven years from many countries countries that support -- countries that.

Don't support us and yet to reach one night just keep saying to myself thank god I'm an American I am so proud of this country and how we move forward since -- eleven.

And it's not would -- you know it was the thought that will make it defense.

And the hope was always -- -- your heart you know you you went through this rubble and that's debris looking for the remains of your peers.

And you were fortunate enough after all that hard work to find those remains.

But then you made the decision that you would not leave the other father's.

Behind the other men behind in the search.

They loved ones tell us about that.

Well you know when -- got here eleven years ago my thought was -- want to find my son but then it.

You know I've done this for many years and and search and rescue work.

My thought was all start right here and anybody I find along the ways can be a blessing for that particular -- the stats that I work with specific.

That's in the choir performance was to -- looking for this -- After three months we found.

My buddy my son Jonathan.

After that I couldn't leave this site and it's just not proper so I stayed on with the dad's.

We continued to search we found many people you know so was a blessing unfortunately to -- -- that -- I've worked with this suns who have not been found.

Many either rains will never be found.

But how should the search continues.

For Americans as we go forward where is the resurgence.

Begin and the remembrance and what does it it.

Hi I don't think it should ever and you know if we if we start fading away from 9/11 in the -- of nine elevenths.

There was enough to get those beautiful men and women that came here that stayed at the -- and health food and forget about the beautiful civilians in these buildings here that.

Made a choice that -- to help people.

So how -- we think get.

There's been so many good days that have happened since nine elevenths.

Lose scholarships this thousands foundations that have started to help military people that are coming home without delay extra half.

Building homes and not just from -- but -- American.

And that's what this country's all about.
