The long list of tech journalists appear all but certain.

That apple is set to unveil a new iPhone tomorrow iPhone 5 something some financial analysts say sales of the new device.

Could actually give the entire American economy a major boost.

According to JPMorgan chief economist and new iPhone would add up to a half a percentage point to our gross domestic product.

Of course that's a major economic indicator that measures the total total dollar value of all the goods and services produced over specific period of time.

Michael -- -- studio with us he's the -- -- associate editor of financial weekly Barron's which is owned by our parent company -- half a point in the GDP from one.

Product that's the optimistic case -- point out that's also annualized in other words you have a one time bump and fourth quarter measurable progress domestic product.

Assuming we get the sales estimates that everybody's looking for here eight million or so iphones in the fourth quarter.

That would be if you if it happened every quarter of the year mean you know a third to a half a percentage point.

Now I think -- -- keep in mind is there's no doubt it's gonna be immeasurable -- to economic activity in the fourth quarter it happened with the last iteration of the iPhone as well at least to a lesser degree.

But you know nobody's -- 600 dollar bills so to speak out from the sky -- -- -- buy these things.

Somebody's gonna buy it either has saved up -- wasn't buying other things they're not gonna buy something after they buy this or they're taken at a savings or they're putting -- -- gonna pay off over time.

Look it's gonna have certainly a good impact on a very small segment of the economy you're gonna buy services along with -- applications and all that.

But in itself it's not gonna -- really accelerate the US economy.

And there's this matter of the possibility of new charger.

You know that that -- -- -- -- hole where you plug the thing and it's going to be a different number of pins in there.

And there were all going to have to get new chargers.

That would not probably not many people pretty from where real threat they're 29 dollars traditionally and you and one is never enough that's -- it's there are a lot of things to love there.

And a -- things not to -- there now that might be on the not to.

I would imagine so and you know.

Interestingly you know it's that's not even have to me a profit -- had to design decisions somebody made along the way and for whatever reason because of the way it works and in charge it -- that makes room for more screen -- -- -- right in there.

I feel like I don't like fifty charges and only three -- -- different than to give you ten deleted it -- ten -- death to though I believe.

Only ten dollar they're trying to head off exactly you'll kind of outrage.

If this if this is outraged.

Still three won the -- -- up -- -- will be.
