What does a billion and a half dollars buy you these days apparently not an ally.

At least that's what President Obama said last night about Egypt which gets a boatload of money from American taxpayers.

Late today the administration tried to walk that back.

This all comes as American diplomatic outposts all over the world are on heightened alert and US citizens are being warned about the dangers of traveling in some places.
