What is going on with these protests you experience it firsthand.

Back in 2000 maybe that was the tip off to what would be 9/11 and so much else later on but did it does seem to be something.

On you usual here that goes beyond the -- country.

But you've got a couple things in play -- the first -- you have an administration that clearly despite.

What they -- -- now reached in the Muslim world to explain what America was who we stood for and our values.

Clearly has been disregarded.

And by the same token.

They have created the circumstances that allowed us to completely under estimated.

And have the intelligence necessary.

To predict what was going to happen.

The rapid nature and expansion of these protests throughout the Arab world.

And the fact that it now resulted in the death of a brilliant ambassador and three other people who've dedicated their lives toward trying to protect those ideals -- further them in a place like -- -- that was clearly on the cusp.

And in an opportunity with everything going on.

The president decides to make -- touching goes speech and leave and not engage on some of the most pressing issues.

From Libya to Syria to -- -- Iranian nuclear threat to the Chinese expansion in the South China Sea.

But instead go out and pull politicize or not -- -- get on the political trail.

Rather than taking time to sit down with these people face to face and engage with them with as much going on in the world.

Our country right now with everything that's going on need to president not a politician.

Well John McCain seemed to be criticizing.

Some fellow Republicans when he was here with me the other -- are saying.

If if this leads to cutting off day.

To the region or even in this case Libya.

Because we don't like some of the nefarious elements that they did this horrible.

We're we're cutting offered us -- what we're we're we're doubling down on debt would use it.

-- we cannot afford to disengage if we -- -- that vacuum will be -- And it would be filled by the Chinese it would be filled by the Russians it will be filled by the Iranians.

-- to a degree even though it is very difficult.

I think we have to stay engaged in that region we got to continue to do it may be we tighten up.

Who the money is going to how the -- is being allocated where we can Trace the money to ensure that it is going to the right things.

Because they still believe that an engagement policy throughout the region it's very positive for the United States but we need to be more judicious in how we're doing it.

Thank you commander good seeing you again even on -- -- balances.
