We're back with congresswoman Michelle Bachmann you -- very critical of president Obama's actions in Libya back when the revolution was going on let's talk.

Two that how do you feel that he -- handled.

The aftermath of this situation relative to add to concerns you had a year ago.

Why did because I said unequivocally that it was wrong for Barack Obama to going and he unilaterally took United States forces and started bombing Libya.

We had Gaddafi -- no one loves Gaddafi was a great guy but he was fairly neutral any was working left us in some sense on some different issues.

Now the problem was we knew we had a lot of al-Qaeda and Libya and a lot of the people -- eastern Libya were recruited to kill our troops in Iraq.

And so if you depose.

Gaddafi the question is who was next who'll take over.

That's the problem that we're seeing this week and Libya.

Who's taking all over its complete lawlessness.

And a breakdown of society and also there are a lot of weapons -- went missing.

When Gadhafi was deposed and a lot of those missing -- the -- those weapons are not cross the Middle East he could be used against the United States.

One of the people who was killed Sean Smith indicated -- on line post that he put out just hours before he was killed.

He said we are fearful that there will be an attack I hope by we don't -- tonight that was his specific words I hope we don't died -- -- He said that one of the guards had taken photos.

Of the embassy and had taken photos of the safe house.

We know this was not just some spontaneous effort because you don't have RPG's rocket propelled grenade launchers in such an event.

They ended up apparently capturing a number of secret documents out of the embassy that included the names of contacts in Libya those people are now vulnerable.

Going forward.

What what do we learn here on the oversight committee that looks at these issues of intelligence.

What do you and other members of the committee say to the intelligence agencies and the military so that this doesn't happen again.

Well again I don't know what prevents this is strength and the projection of strength and I think we can go we can wind act when Barack Obama made it very clear.

That the United States was no longer standing behind Israel.

That change the complete dynamic in the Middle East.

And when President Obama has sent one unmistakable signal after another that we're not going to stand with Israel.

To the point where even our State Department won't say that Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

That's sent a signal.

That we've been in the big -- having Israel's back since they declared their sovereignty on May fourteenth that 1948.

With the United States took a step back under Barack Obama's direction.

That changed the whole dynamic.

We have got to senate unmistakable so it is signal.

It's like you punish bad behavior that's what we need to do right now punish bad behavior.

Reward good behavior I think the president should cancels meeting -- David Letterman beyoncé.

Should stand up and say not only will we recognize Jerusalem -- Israel's capital but we're gonna move our embassy to -- from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem to tell the islamists that we're gonna have Israel's back that would be a strong state.

Yeah I'm sure what happened.

I need to ask you one.

Quick question about the economy because we are headed toward what has been described repeatedly as a fiscal cliff.

That we're gonna fall over what must we do to prevent.

It's -- tax in the Gavin what we need to do is make sure that we continue the current tax rates as they are.

Right now the last thing we need is to increase taxes and we're looking at what we call tax -- get in on January 1 it's a very quick and it's.

It is a disaster.

In -- district in Minnesota we're looking at an increase in taxes of that average household someone making 50000 dollars a year.

Joint income.

4000.

739.

Dollars per household.

You can't do that.

The average household across United States has lost that much in income and the last four years about 4000 dollars and gas prices have doubled you saw -- In what's happened with her -- -- If you have an average household look at an increase -- talking about rich people.

We're -- about average Americans 4739.

Dollars.

Very few Americans might can afford that now that increase this is gonna set us way back it'll mean a certainty of recession so what we have to do.

Is make sure that taxes don't co -- and we've got to cut back on all this wasteful spending we cannot continue to keep the.

-- -- -- -- How -- it is a delight always to have you thanks for being here delaying Q.
