Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northeast.

And today we're expecting temperatures a little bit on the cooler side and we're gonna see them dropping SPN's the next couple of days opting some strong cold front that's pushing me -- And today will be postings a lot of travel problems out across our area with heavy rain and even the possibility of flash flooding and some -- severe weather so we'll keep and -- and that otherwise high temperatures today 74 over New York City -- doing -- Syracuse.

And Harrisburg Pennsylvania expecting a high at 72 degrees during the afternoon hours and take a look as we head into tomorrow widespread sixties across parts.

I love seeing New York Pennsylvania and New York City -- expecting -- high at seventy degrees.

And 68 will be your high in the city of Boston here's a shot where all that rain is already fine across portions of upstate New York down into parts.

A Pennsylvania and also the state of Maryland and Virginia and it's going to be coming down very heavily at times.

As we head into the afternoon hours and evening hours is also that chance that some of these storms could produce.
