There's a victory for Britain's royal family after a French court orders -- gossip magazine to hand over topless photos of prince William's wife Kate Middleton.

But with the pictures already splashed all over the Internet and published in other countries is this a case of too little too late.

How much of this is being driven by the fact that this is a future queen of England that we're talking about here I mean if you know if if an ordinary woman from London ran into the same problem and her pictures somehow wound up in a magazine.

Would the French court you can be taking up.

This case maybe not but if you look at the at -- first thought it probably wouldn't be there.

But if you look at the statute it's very clear on its face and let me also talk about the Italian and the Irish laws while that the point is yes -- French with the France.

It's court says it will not hold sway in those other courts but those other country on court and at the publication are now on.

Notice they know what the French court has said.

That means damages going forward.
