And it's and -- running into the street and as they did another tank shell landed in the street and it killed his eleven year old cousin -- Is this a -- it -- -- that.
Somehow -- helping the rebels a mosque that was targeted for some reason.
No it's just random indiscriminate shelling basically you have hundreds of worshippers in the mosques there were no rebel fighters there were no guns there were no heavy weaponry.
And this is the systematic and indiscriminate -- at the regime is engaging in basically to intimidate civilians it wants -- to know that it won't back down that it won't surrender.
And as a result we have about a hundred series dying -- day Foo Fighters and bombings -- -- challenge.
So many here that the Associated Press just reporting as this bombing in -- -- it probably doesn't surprise you very much.
What does not surprise at all of the in the eighteen months of the -- of -- serious civil war to regime is slowly escalated its level of violence.
From killing civilians took too long range shelling and then recently unleashing its air force on civilians.
-- one of the things that we hear back here at home -- -- at this this whole conversation about whether it be nice easy to get more involved.
Is is question about you know who are these rebels who are these people that are challenging the government.
What can you tell us after being inside the country.
Who these people are that are fighting.
-- sides regime and and what we should know about that.
Well basically most of the rebels are just regular people like you and me trying to struggle for freedom.
And -- and I've leveraged rid themselves of -- -- Cheney regime however there are small numbers of foreigners on the front lines we have.
Credible reports of jihadist -- trickling in from countries is it such as Iraq and even countries such as our Great Britain so there are a number of -- -- we are seeing there.
-- near -- man is there an opportunity.
Pretty nice days to get involved wouldn't be welcome do you think it's needed.
Well it's certainly -- Syrians would how would accept help from anyone who offers it.
But -- no fly zone is not a guarantee of a rebel victory.
It -- -- can turn the corner and dislodged regime forces from isolated basis but then the regime we'll just hunker down its key strongholds.
And we'll see an extended war of attrition as a result in a bracket.
That you're raising the -- in Michigan you're an American and you've traveled all over the Middle East.
-- and your fellow Americans our viewers.
Had been watching this story and sold for eighteen months knew what you think every American needs to know about what's really happening inside Syria.
What's really it did -- the revolution has has degenerated into a civil war with the regime is unleashing all its forces and all its weaponry on the civilians.
And it's really very hard for these people just to wake up and go down the street and -- in the morning not one of -- -- say he may be showing chose a bombed out building.
At 8 o'clock in the morning and nominate make fighter jet dropped a bomb on -- man on this building and a man walking by Brad was killed as a result.
And we understand that you were -- in harm's way.
Why you were there and I'm sure your family is is glad to have you back at home as are we -- by the way I understand that your father.
