Hill on the hill and now.

There will be held.

Welcome everybody I'm Neil Cavuto -- thoughts on top of a secretary of state with a tin cup out and not too many politicians.

Willing to throw any coins in Hillary Clinton lobbying congress today to keep the money flowing to the Middle East but she is facing new resistance.

From Republicans -- a whole lot of Democrats.

Whose day.

They've had it was pouring good money after bad in the Middle East images like these certainly do not help do that.

So Ron Paul is as long before this close this -- and close it now congress and -- have you.

Thank you Leo good to be reviewed there are many more in your camp.

And I'm wondering having heard this before when there's a dust up the violence and certainly this -- Quite a dust up but it dates and other words the resistance to lending money.

-- and and we go back to lending money.

You can.

Community congressman.

Now -- I lost that last sentence or two will this idea that.

Dad's opposes many are in congress to giving more money to Middle East in the end they come around to do so what do you make it.

Now -- they've been doing after a long time and now probably do it again but the people are waking up and enough putting up with its -- easily.

There is -- day there is a good bit of the truth to this argument that.

Foreign aid is small compared to a lot of other expenditures.

But the principal as he's going to attack and it represents intervention overseas that is unnecessary and eventually leads to trouble.

So it's a good target.

I hope it does -- good for quite frankly I think they'll capitulate.

And they'll give all the -- may try to -- friends.

And yes I think it leads to no more than more trouble in more debt.

And the principal us trying to influence the world and around the world and changed world.

-- producing ninety burning many of sending it over there it's failing and we gotta give up on it.

Now the argument against doing that but but they'd like to John McCain and others and we'll talk to me including Eric Cantor who we're gonna talk to a little bit later Simpson and -- -- is you can't.

Not give money you can't just divorce yourself from this region what do you say -- that.

Well I say why not it's gonna happen if we.

I you know run out of money when people don't trust this and we have a currency crisis it's going to hit on.

They have to realize it doesn't do any good what good was at forty billion dollars or so -- we gave to Mubarak in Egypt.

It finally fell apart there's chaos there now so I would say it was a bad investment from the beginning.

And they say well we have to do this for Israel.

That Israel is worse off when these things end and they might argue in the short run.

Well we don't prop up these governments you know it's going to be harmful to all our policies in the Middle East.

But it is going to hand.

It causes the terrible cause of the overthrow his parents if we can't always control of the people who take over.

So we bought the government Mubarak and now there's a new government whether it's Libya.

Or Egypt or what it might be like in Syria later on it will be the Al hi does it would take over.

So we don't benefit Israel doesn't benefit the taxpayer doesn't benefit.

It's a foolish policy and it will come to an end the sooner the better.

All right then the other argument you hear congress it is that we stepped out China steps in -- steps and Baltimore detriment all to embolden ran into -- sinister moves toward us.

I think I they're smarter than that -- -- I won't do it but they do.

I think.

And the Soviets and Russians had their fill on it when they were in Afghanistan.

I mean they were stung badly and he allies up and laughed and and went through the disintegration of the empire.

China doesn't have a history of doing this they're more like capitalists you know they actually sell us stuff save money invest in -- -- and invest in these countries.

So they do not have the same characteristic that we have had for a hundred years.

-- putting troops overseas in occupying country.

In picking and choosing dictators.

So I think it's a possibility.

But unlikely if they did it would feel for them and it's -- for us -- -- feel for them as well.

But -- let them of the burden and the problems and complications rather than have the American people suffer from the consequences.

Do.

In the end congress and they just hate us the design of these extremists.

We we had a template and have a president is -- to more moderating approach to reach out to the Muslim world after a president who.

Who did not this president's as and no matter how you slice it and no matter the administration.

Invariably the same we hate you America response.

But -- -- You know I think actually.

We on the Republican -- have lost some ground because.

We have been overly aggressive with our presence over there and Obama who I do not believe for a minute.

Anywhere approaches my position of non aggressive as a non occupation.

But.

And he had -- taken a different tone he's gonna benefit this politically as not being you know both throw -- But I got my my position generally has been that didn't have.

Very many years I've been here in Washington policies especially foreign policy it's really never changes from party to party there strategy a general endorsement.

All of you know us being involved this thing going on for a long long time.

And I've been working hard to -- and train just attitude try to have a much more pro American foreign policy and deal with our budget deficits.

And convince people that it's not in our national self interest to have this position that we try to dictate the world.

-- their leader should be included dictator should be in that we can buy her friend's latest possible.

And there is a little veto as you reminded me we don't have the money to buy health anyway but that's the separatists -- have Ron Paul thank you very much.
