Today marks the 150.

Anniversary of the announcement of the emancipation proclamation.

As the document that was the gateway to ending slavery in the US.

But our next guest says the government is still enslaving its citizens under mountains of debt and obligation.

Fox News contributor to named Burrell is the author of backlash how the Obama how Obama and the left are driving Americans to -- government.

Plantation to dean -- -- morning what do you mean government.

-- since leaving government is -- people let me get back to the emancipation proclamation it is a great thing to recognize.

The success of that blacks were liberated -- -- First Act to liberate blacks.

But you know it in -- it was a long struggle for blacks to gain employment jobs and housing so we have come a very long way.

But sadly when I talk about government plantation I believe President Obama is creating an entitlement.

Society.

That is driving more more Americans to seek government assistance which is what I call the government plantation not talk about this in my book.

Are you using the term note slavery.

Too loosely I mean you know that obviously conjures images of violence degradation.

A comparing that's what the government is doing now is that too much of a stretch close and I call it.

Slavery from physical slavery to economic slavery.

Obama has put up too many barriers against hard working Americans where really people are suffering from -- living standards.

If you'll -- is energy policy for example.

You know high energy prices are regressive.

High energy prices harm the war the ones on low income they are least able to afford high energy prices in New York.

Guess is -- -- four dollars a gallon utility prices are up.

Sadly Obama has a war -- coal coal provides an abundance of our electricity that people are picking and choosing typing my utility bill.

Or do I buy my medicine this month.

About the personal responsibility.

-- what about personal responsibility that you can't be a slave to government if you don't.

Choose to be.

A slave to government on some level this isn't the slavery of the olden days where you are whipped if you try to escape right this -- -- personal responsibility -- -- it does but what that's why call it economic slavery Obama has relaxed the rules for food stands for example we have able bodied Americans.

Who are getting food stamps when really they could be seeking employment that they could be working now.

And that's a lot of responsibility that's the planet are so right so how do you get people to you know cast off their own changes to run with -- -- but that's the whole education aspect because when you're -- government assistance you rely on the government called the government plantation.

The resources are limited if -- -- gainfully employed and you can do anything what you want with your.

-- com and you can spend your money anywhere you want because when it comes -- stands for example.

What -- you can use that funding is limited.

Based on government rules so why are -- getting that message.

That's why we're here today and people should be recognized that fact that Obama is creating -- in the an entitlement -- society.

And people need to be gainfully employed so they can make their own decisions and choices and to best support themselves and their families -- -- -- again the book is called.

Lot actually she got it thanks so thank you I just see if not an office by the White House file.
