When Republicans criticize obamacare Democrats usually come up with a responses like these.

I've been searching in vain for the Republican health care bill because the Republicans have no alternative and they'll see the Republican alternative.

Which I'm sorry to say is nonexistent.

The shrill voices of opposition have been rampant for weeks.

Loudly spreading fabrication and fear him but remarkably silent when asked to produce ideas of their own.

Frankly I don't know what it is they do -- -- they get a 131 days ago they're gonna have a plan yeah that sounds.

That's the sound of their plan they don't seem to have one.

Well thank you so much congressman winner we know how things worked out for you.

All right does the GOP really have no plans for Health Care Reform are -- suggest that no one wants to listen to them.

-- -- of Republican represented his came up with a novel idea how about bringing in the experts who know more about patient care than anyone else like doctors.

Maybe ask them what they think.

Should and should not be included in any health care plan joining me is Texas congressman and doctor Michael Burgess and obesity.

I mean.

He's -- for the office.

Doctor in the house and don't.

Or Marcy swelling who -- a private practice primary care physician.

Congressman doctor -- -- I want to make sure we get both of those in their -- congress mature a medical doctor.

Is it true that the GOP.

And the Republicans in the house just don't have any ideas from -- Hope you know I was just watching those clips and I had forgotten how intensely uncomfortable it was to go through 2009 and hear that.

When we had ideals of fascinating that we had probably too many ideas we couldn't get them all up here but you know we were never consulted.

You know and interestingly when you go back and look at the history of this whole thing that was supposed to be so transparent not for the American people from the start.

It was all done behind closed doors -- the White House and they even cut up the democratic House of Representatives because they were too much trouble.

This thing was on -- it was split was on he was on rails it was on a path and they work and listen -- anybody else didn't matter what we have to so if it wasn't doctors who were helping design the -- -- patients and doctors would react.

Who and that -- was coming up with this stuff well those secret meetings -- the five.

Flow or six folks that were down there the unions were down -- -- had a big interest in it because their contracts or what they're kind of collective bargaining stuff is based off of their health care.

Benefits are based on their collective bargaining.

Pharma was it a big way wrote a lot of this law as it turned out our committee did the investigation.

The reporters up on the energy and commerce website for all to -- didn't get much press.

But it was just startling and how much.

The lead you know they say we're gonna be transparent above board but then when it came time to do the work they invited lobbyists in close doors wrote the bill.

In an administration promise that lobbies wouldn't have any part his administration.

Doctors rolling you you're in private practice I am obamacare will affect you dramatically let's talk about in what ways.

Governor this.

After this law unfortunately.

-- members the very foundation health care and that's the patient doctor relationship.

Everything good about health care happens between me and my patient in an -- room.

Four walls a closed door and the government doesn't belong there and this bill.

This still invites the government not just into the room.

But into the process.

Into the decision process.

It takes away choice.

It takes away privacy.

I mean imagine -- records are now sent to the federal government premiere -- roots movement.

It's abominable it's abominable and the sad thing is is that it doesn't allow physicians to do -- job.

We just want to be able to do our job.

We're professionals.

We want to work for our patients I introduced myself when I talk in front of -- -- -- my patients doctor.

We are the most privileged profession in the world.

And every doctor in this country needs to be able to practice his expertise.

And work for the patient sitting in that room and I say give them that better day that's what they discern.

Were left out and I and I don't understand I'm a little sensitive to it the governors of America were left out of this.

And the reason I say that is because in every state governors run the largest private health care system in the state employees which is usually the largest employer in -- state.

I also have the largest public.

Insurance plan Medicaid huge the cost are choking states'.

Governors to my knowledge were not.

Consulted on the impact for their budgets.

No they were not and and governor Herbert I was at a panel just two weeks ago and he articulated that that very thought.

I always wondered why in the world did we bring Mitch Daniels in and tie into the chair -- spilled the beans about how he was able to provide health insurance for his state employees.

At 11% less than two years the the year before and he did that with a high deductible health play -- health savings don't that he funded.

And the the governor felt something really intriguing something magic happens when people spend their own money for health care even if it wasn't -- -- money to begin with.

Got Mitch Daniels the governor of Indiana there -- a lot of governors around the country who are utterly scared to death that if they implement.

All of the terms of obamacare regarding Medicaid first couple years the federal government will pick it up after that their own their own -- -- it'll wipe them out.
