Senior political analyst Brit Hume is here with some thoughts about what may be a new nickname for President Obama won we've heard before.
The Teflon president good -- Brit Brit.
President Obama's latest sixty minutes interview suggests why he's so often uses the teleprompter without one he says the darnedest things.
For example mr.
Obama claimed that Republican senate leader Mitch McConnell had said he wanted to make him a one term president quote when I first came into office.
In fact McConnell did not say that until October of 2010 nearly two years and the Obama term.
And McConnell added quote I don't want the president to fail I want him to change and quote.
In another -- the president said George W.
Bush issued more regulations that he has during the same time frame.
And moments later attacked the bush administration for too much deregulation.
And there are also mr.
Obama's problems with Tennessee says in response to a question about pressure from Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu as you heard on Iran's nuclear program mr.
Obama said he is able to block out quote any noise that's out there.
On the recent events in the Middle East which of course included a wave of anti US violence and among other things killed -- US ambassador.
Mr.
Obama spoke of the inevitability of quote bumps in the road today we've heard.
The hapless Jay Carney was explain that these lists to quote did not really mean with the words clearly say if that sounds familiar.
Now it is that's what mr.
Obama and his defenders claim when he famously said if you've got a business you didn't build that.
Antecedents aside 43 days left is their time.
For Mitt Romney to make something stick ball perhaps except that here's the thing.
We've just had -- blow up in the Middle East trouble all across the region all across the Muslim world this horrendous crime.
And and terrorist attack in Libya.
Which might be enough to shake -- president's standing in a serious way.
And yet it seems not to stick now you don't expect the mainstream media to go after mr.
Obama they never have and they probably never will.
Which you might expect the republic to respond more skepticism and doubt about him in the polls indicate in these battleground particularly so far have.
Thus one begins to wonder if he isn't a -- president Barbara thank you.
So do you agree the problems just don't stick to President Obama -- on Twitter you can follow me at Brett -- still ahead.
