We would get to see the country and meet incredible people and do things like this you know a lot of neat people there's great.
But the bad part is for some odd reason the mainstream media.
Those on the political left they just they just didn't like John McCain and they certainly -- like your sister your dog.
There are they're afraid ever they're afraid of her achievements -- -- -- because.
And she's -- pose a threat she's been very successful whatever she's.
-- been involved in there there but she's she's always had this incredible sense of right and wrong.
And should you see what -- as she's doesn't agree with some she's going to be the one that stands.
For for a lot of us that we'll talk about it in private but won't.
Say in public because we don't want offensively and she'll get right up and she's been like that since she was a little right and you grill -- that this is wrong -- and this is why it's wrong and people don't want to hear that.
Where -- -- -- -- sitting there when she gave this speech.
At the Republican National Convention.
We were there and -- -- -- there and I couldn't believe it was happening.
It was it was something -- have -- the guy down the street you know knock me out.
In the beginning of the book you talk about how you are being motorcade in and you're down in the basement you're in the green room and there she is the open door there's your daughter your sister and she's working the room coolest cucumbers here really well as we were a little sweat bullets were on him yeah everybody was and Sarah was to have a ball Stevens is that I slot machines the -- -- -- He said that the number one question that you get is what she gonna do next -- number one we've heard that a thousand times and number two question is.
Could we see this coming as a kid and I'd like to say oh yeah we saw a bouncing around a crib.
No we never never sought commendable when she was young when that you -- to -- what you grow.
Sports she wanted to work -- and gotten ESPN we talk about all that in the book and and there's great.
Convention stories in the -- him sure and the impetus for writing its -- -- -- the truth out from your perspective right yes.
-- others have been so many phony baloney stories about her began to do best of our memory and knowledge everything and there is totally factual.
There's only been three -- books like that out of that.
Hundred plus books written about her as she read it.
I don't I don't think so no we're we we've talked to her about that.
As we were going through this process them and and we had that conversation.
Saturday -- read this and she said now listen these are your words these are your memories and my friends memories.
I don't want to model -- anything.
That's good let it come out the way it's I'll read it like everybody else in Tennessee are gonna make her -- -- copy two I had to buy her.
But going yeah people realized.
Actually have to buy books.
Everybody was talking about who's going to be as Sarah Palin is she gonna run for -- United States did you think it was a good idea that she threw her hat in.
I I wish she would've.
But I understand.
I think she you know I think I'm speaking for myself my own opinion but.
She looked at what are family had just been through.
And having the two young kids paper -- -- -- having to subject them to another campaign.
And then.
You know the campaign would have been successful.
Everything that would come with that with a victory.
I think she.
She chose to.
Help others.
You know.
Further educate yourself -- and travel the world and and that's what she's been doing and she's made a big difference -- absolutely should turn those 2010 elections around.
She did -- was -- -- by herself now.
What was she angry that she wasn't asked to be part of the RNC this year or why she and she decline I don't think she was angry she would she say she said.
They need to hear new voices in there but.
