-- if you -- glimpse into what the future holds for America if president Barack Obama is handed a second term.

Now take a long hard look at the chaos that is unfolding on the ground in Europe.

Violent riots are raging in the streets of Spain and Greece as angry mobs.

Protest against the government and austerity measures there and -- this more than 70000 people descended on the Greek parliament.

Molotov cocktails targeted police officers and similar scenes of disturbing violence occurred in Madrid as well but.

Make no mistake if this president is in fact afforded another four years in office.

And if he has the ability to run up our national debt another six trillion dollars.

Look right there -- this is what main street in America may very well look like.

Now the current path we find ourselves on is beyond unsustainable.

It is the direct result of nearly four years of reckless spending.

-- forget about bush this is the Obama economy.

Eight point 1% unemployment six trillion dollars in new Obama -- one in six Americans currently live in poverty in this country.

46 million Americans are in need of food stamps.

Fewer Americans feel or are working today than when the president took office in January of 09.

Gas prices has soared by over 100% during his tenure and today we learned that the average household income dropped by more than 8%.

In the less than four years president Obama's been in office and what's the president doing about all that well he's of course campaigning.

Are out there in all over the country earlier today stop by Kent state university and Ohio.

And that's a place that he visited back in 2008.

Now let's take a walk down memory lane and see what he set.

When Bill Clinton was president of the average family income went up seven 500 dollars.

-- 500 dollars since George Bush of the browser and ordered them.

It's gone down 2000 dollars.

Think about that that's about 9500.

Dollars slowing.

Not a 500 dollars.

That's money out of your pocket.

That's money going out of this country become -- barring it from China to send -- -- -- about a by our.

That's what's -- added.

Four trillion dollars short deficit.

Don't think about that.

Felt so we're we've created a mountain of debt for the next generation.

The third that's bill.

Now remember under Obama's watch household income has plummeted more than 8% and he's added more debt than almost all of its predecessors combined.

But the president doesn't want to talk about his record.

Because it's a record of failure.

He's been disengaged from the moment that he took office.

Not only is he not willing to meet with world leaders like prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He's not willing to reach across the aisle to address very serious matters that we'll have a dramatic impact on our country our kids our grandkids.

How massive cuts in our nation's defense are looming.

The largest tax hike in American history is imminent.

And I'm sorry to report Mr.

President the solutions to those problems will not be reached by sitting on the couch -- the view.

Nor are they gonna be founded JC's nightclub normally be found in George Clooney's house.

And here to help remind us how we got to this point both here at home and abroad is the author of a brand new New York Times best seller the price Apollo.

Takes Bob Woodward is back -- you sir thank you good to see if you actually said about Obama and the debt crisis it is a moment of maximum.

Terror.

He described a president that was not engaged in terms of relationships to fix the problem that he's failed.

Well he knew he worked out of but he didn't carry it over the finish line and you have to look at these things.

Not that for effort but for results and -- and one thing I got to -- you make the case against him very.

Strong there one thing I would agree with fuel line is that it's beyond unsustainable.

We have got to -- -- vivid people are talking about the fiscal cliff coming.

New picks increases spending cuts and so forth but the real problem is gonna -- in February.

When.

Out of necessity whoever's president is going to have to go to the congress and say we need another trillion dollars may be two trillion dollars.

In borrowing authority.

To pay our debts we we have gone.

-- and -- in this is your conservative message.

Which -- people should do whether they agree with you or not this is real.

This is real and we we are on a spending.

-- and in my is something's gotta be done about it now.

Budgeted to Obama's credit is that when I talked through a couple of months ago and I went through all of this I think he.

In a way exquisite Lee is tuned in to the ambivalence is so -- of this is we've talked about he's a progressive Democrat but there he's a Smart guy.

In he knows you've got to fix this you've got to do something now what's -- and in this campaign.

Unfortunately.

Is.

The number one issue that's the number one threat to this country is not being discussed is -- in the heat it is.

I see these -- to -- overstating the fact that all the that we see unfolding in Europe can happen here I am -- overstating that let let's hope not and I don't and -- -- column wrong I think will be wise enough to prevent bad but you've been -- you've got to get to a point where this cracks.

At this point he had in and minutes and it's more than that tipping point it.

In the -- it's not me it's economists from the left.

From the right from the Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner throughout this book.

In private meetings in literally thousands of -- -- is telling the president.

You've got to fix this we've got to do something we we will trigger.

Now think about this a depression worse than the 1930s.

My parents.

Lived through that my father grew up -- during the depression spoke about it often wasn't pleasant.

Well let me ask you in the book you talk about a president.

And you compared him to both Bill Clinton a Democrat and Ronald Reagan Republican.

And -- you know was always Ronald Reagan tip is that after six Tip O'Neill they -- get along they can they can make progress.

Bill Clinton is on the phone we laughed about the last time on the program 2 o'clock.

Hey it's -- belly up you know he call anybody would be working out a deal.

This president doesn't have that relation deals relationships.

Now we see the situation on what's going on and -- -- to dead.

Navy SEALs and ambassador we have an -- ambassador killed in thirty years another person is dead.

All of these.

Embassies consulates have the you know Ben rated flags -- -- -- burned.

The question is we're finding -- -- this president wasn't engaged with any Arab leaders either.

Well the New York Times -- the story just a couple of days -- always saying it exactly that.

And this is the difficulty -- home.

For some -- -- The president's own party.

-- read the Democrat.

The leader of the senate the second most powerful.

Democrat in Washington.

Goes down to the White House in didn't wake the president and up he has to use his chief of staff to -- him.

I'm disappointed in view the president in the Oval Office that we didn't have a fallback plan for all landing and then against.

In 2011.

And then there's that.

You know one of those six split you know one of those moments where -- you wonder could this really happen.

The read is leaving with his chief of staff in the car and he says you know I'm glad you did a good job someone -- detail in there.

No one was telling him that nobody -- -- so.

The democratic leader needs.

An eight.

To go into the home office it's 6 o'clock and this Sunday night to have kind of wake everyone up there including the president of the united.

It's frightening.

You know and I really loved your book and -- -- -- went back and I start -- re reading it knowing you're going to be on the program here today.

I look at this president and I think of Woodward.

And you did your partner -- a little more left wing and Bernstein in and Watergate and all you've been through in your career.

We have a situation where I believe the president of the United States has purposely lie.

And let me tell you what I mean when he keeps referring to this attack on our embassy.

And all of the evidence including the Libyan president.

There -- two -- of attack mortars were used I don't think the spontaneous attack which we were first told somebody's holding in their back pocket -- happen have a rocket propelled grenade with me.

It's on the anniversary of 9/11.

The president keeps going back to using this movie trailer that nobody saw -- released in July as an excuse.

That seems to me the type -- story that the media.

Would -- pot.

And say.

Give us the facts here why didn't we have beefed up security on 9/11 at our consulate at our embassies.

No we didn't win and we dropped the ball here they don't ask him.

Well I died I have not done original reporting on that so I don't know but -- and the issue which I think is the one that is gonna come in bite.

This country in a way work.

We'll be back talking about this and 456.

Months who will say see we.

We laid it out in a very very direct way in one of the things the president -- said is that we've cut a trillion dollars.

That's so it's all postponed.

To Tony thirteen governor Romney has said we're gonna do things with the tax code we're gonna cut different -- fixes -- we're gonna get more money.

It's not clear how -- and -- and I I hope in the coming debates.

The people who were the moderator.

Who are very Smart and policy -- feet.

Won't let them just give any answer.

And get on that hopefully you have to follow up and say -- they'll wait a minute.

That doesn't square how were you going to do this want what is the expectation the public can have in.

The and in in this is the most interest if you think about who it is -- -- become president they are going to have to do.

Some re fully unpopular -- very much so to fix this and it's Bennett it's good I'm in -- they need look through.

The book and it was John Boehner the speaker who came to the president and said we need to do -- wrote for him.

Entitlement reform.

Those are hard they take a long time -- need -- they'd be.

It's just -- -- -- does not look I I accept means testing I don't like it but I except that I accept that they're gonna raise the eligibility age these are all basic things.

And Mitt Romney to his credit so that on sixty minutes this weekend.

Here's here's this question for you that I have -- and as a relates to media.

Can you imagine -- forty days out of a presidential election and I argue that we didn't vet Obama in 2007 an eight.

And I was widely quoted on my radio show saying the president's laughing his ass off.

At the media in this country because if he says there's a -- in the -- -- gonna go regurgitate it that's how I think the media's fault not on their job.

We not -- the president you promised to cut the deficit in half in your first term you didn't do what he's never been past six trillion in debt.

You promised at this point if we -- stimulus you predicted eight million more jobs.

We have fewer Americans working.

These -- fundamental.

Questioning I am Indian we know those numbers -- I mean the real question he has now is.

What is the plan to get this how did this what are you going to do the -- are you will asked why he didn't do it the first time well I mean we we know the numbers sure look idea I think.

In our business you can't be too aggressive.

You -- when I interviewed the president for an hour and a half a couple of months ago.

This was not a kinda how do you feel about this -- -- said this you did then I don't condone what happened last month -- well Clinton.

I know you don't -- him but he is credited.

The -- answered the questions any let me an end.

He let me in the White House because they have documents and notes and I said I'm gonna I'm gonna play this straight I believe.

I have.

-- this you know is is somebody in the White House said this is not a happy story.

You know I gotta tell -- -- -- -- revising any president told to stay as far away from you as possible.

I'm kidding that's it no no but I'll grant you ask some questions I like it via their transparency works -- -- good it did you know this is democracy.

And people need to answer those questions in and you know let's hope in the next whatever forty -- my hopes up before the election.

We have some people.

Who were moderator said that those debates.

To also be a little tough and say excuse me governor excuse me Mr.

President but I don't think you've answered those questions.

I love the book -- congratulations another huge New York Times best seller about.
