Hi there -- meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at the southern plains back through the southwest they daytime highs 92 in Dallas.

89 in Houston ninety in San Antonio still very warm and humid.

Feels like summer time.

Across the south and heading into the southwest which is what we're gonna do right now 93 in Las Vegas 72 in Flagstaff 97.

In Phoenix 81.

In a Los Angeles this area's going to remain dry for the most part across the southwest.

But in into the southern plains that's -- Odyssey the showers and north thunderstorms throughout the day today even into tomorrow is we have this stalled front that's gonna continue to bring.

Inclement weather across the southern plains maybe even.

Severe threat as we head into the afternoon hours.

Today through Friday so again -- heading into the weekend the south west the west remain dry.

But if you live across the southern plains they need the moisture here that's the good news you could see some showers and -- thunderstorms.
