After two weeks have ever changing stories in the administration.

They sent a letter to Susan Rice America's ambassador to the UN -- read in part.

We look forward to a timely response that explains how the US ambassador.

To -- United Nations could characterize an attack on the US consulate so inaccurately five days after terrorist attack that killed.

For Americans New Hampshire senator Kelly -- -- members armed services committee one of the four senators that signed that letter to senator.

Good morning to you there in morning -- Hampshire -- -- to get to all this material back and forth as we go through this but.

Do you have any information as to whether or not the FBI is on the ground in Ben Ghazi Libya going to the consulate or -- Well it's not clear that there on the ground today I don't know the answer to that but I can tell you.

As of the week after the incident they weren't on the ground have been Ghazi they were in neighboring Tripoli.

But they were not where the crime scene was and that's a deeply troubling fact because how can they investigate this incident -- they are securing the crime scene.

And usually that's just occur right after -- -- that -- you know that a week after they weren't there yet what I -- I -- there there now what what does that suggest that they are not.

I don't -- you can do a full investigation if you can't be there to secure evidence that the scene.

And to be right where the event occurred to ask questions -- backgrounds as a prosecutor and I can tell you.

The first thing that you need to do is right at the beginning any event you've got to get the accounts you've got to make sure the evidence secure.

The fact that they -- -- deeply troubling could it be that it's still not safe.

Well it could be that that suggests that obviously.

There has to be a reason -- -- FBI didn't go their immediately.

And that would also suggests that in contradiction to what ambassador Susan Rice said.

On every Sunday show when she first went on on this incident that this -- -- course not a spontaneous reaction to the video.

Those comments were deeply troubling and that's why we wrote the letter I have to tell you.

With the comments she made on those Sunday shows that was either incompetence.

Or blatantly misleading the American people.

She line.

Well I have to tell you -- I would think again I think it's misleading the American people.

We knew what the time obviously that the attackers she knew had to have known baking with RPG's.

Diesel canisters automatic weapons it was on September 11.

They know that the head of al-Qaeda had issued a video.

Before 9/11 really crying out over the the death of his second in charge who was a Libyan terrorists.

And warning in and calling for terrorist attacks though.

That should have been warning enough and of course there have been several incidences.

In Libya in May and June on the Red Cross.

The that this type of event is coming that's we've got to get to the bottom of this I don't know accounting and.

You are convinced this -- terrorism and in -- -- you may be exactly right about that Hillary Clinton came a step closer to calling it just that.

She was quoted saying they're working with other in reference to extremist groups in northern Africa.

They're working with other violent extremists to undermine the democratic transitions underway in North Africa as we tragically saw in Ben -- Is that about as close as she has come and what do you make of that.

Well -- make -- is that yesterday she said -- she believed there was a link.

Between al-Qaeda in North Africa and this incident.

Obviously anything involving al-Qaeda -- reek of a terrorist incidents and of course what we see is ever changing stories from this administration.

It goes again to the initial story that the administration told claiming that it was a spontaneous reaction.

We now know that the facts really contradict.

That story and that it does look.

From the evidence of course the Libyan president himself has called a terrorist attack and you would think that the Libyans would that be privy to some of the information it will tell us.

He will be an interesting with the Libyan presents us today in a speech at the United Nations you have written this letter you expect answers when -- expect to get them.

Well I think we should have answers right away I can tell you I participated in a briefing last week.

That briefing was totally inadequate in fact I got more information from the New York Times -- I got from our own administration.

I think they're reluctant to tell us what this event really was probably because it's an election year but the American people deserve to know answers about what happened.

At our and -- vehemently -- your timers to those brave Americans.

Just yesterday -- York -- -- the administration's evolving and at times muddled explanation I think you agree with that.

I would fully agree with that description senator thank you for your time thanks Ken -- out with us in Manchester, New Hampshire nineteen past --
