Welcome back everybody I'm Julian -- CNN Ryan's.

-- guess trying to take their main -- and she's an.

Actress she's also adding a million other things -- -- -- they -- -- -- David yeah so writer producer and star yes now of the -- backwards yes.

I think first of knowledge where to even begin here tell us about the movie backwards I was reading the -- that sounds like her and I actually haven't seen it yet.

This -- really interesting movie it's sort of like as somebody who has has been working there you know what off.

To achieve.

Greatness in -- career and making sacrifices all along the way and leaving people under way just sort of has that kind of an epiphany.

Actually -- -- it's a -- about what happens in -- when your Beijing doesn't work out whatever that may be in this woman's case is about a woman who spent her whole life training for the Olympics.

But -- -- at number one alternate so ultimately she ends up sitting on the sidelines and it's about how she was born from.

From that setback for what was it that -- idea to write this you know on the road with in college was the number one alternate for the Sydney Olympics.

And I remember thinking at the time that that's a huge accomplishment that's fantastic.

This would be great -- though because no one ever talks about that in sports so they always win that big racer whenever they're in right away so what happens to this person she she -- -- and her monthly get a job.

Because she's turning thirty.

And -- she becomes a coach Carroll high school which for her.

-- a little bit degrading do you think she's this little in the end but she learns to -- life and -- falls in love with coaching it's not about -- fame and power and no I don't expect things about the simple things in life at stake now is -- to make a lucky.

Yeah and that she's very -- familiar personality doesn't he he's fantastic he's really funny enough a lot of people know that life.

Did you know of these videos -- found -- yeah I mean he's he's young he's very funny.

But what was it about you that you decided to sort of move away from having you are starring his phone and then -- sort of move away from just dot focus and outing in all these other things to it.

I think it was that I really wanted to tell this story I wanted to tell and mainstream sports -- with a little bit of a different story line out there that really inspired me to go do it myself because.

You know I really wanted to get it done I want to be good example for young female athletes out there where we gonna see this movie.

It is in -- Theaters nationwide it's been open since last Friday we're expanding this Friday tomorrow and all the information that backwards from the -- dot com backwards the -- dot com has to tell us a little bit about your background are you from what you went to school Yuba City Drummond won and yes.

I'm from Philly originally huge Eagles fans.

You know I'm.

Sure I know it's.

Really didn't -- content -- any -- -- and I they're 21 you know I definitely learned a lot so yeah a little busy little behavior.

But that I went to Williams content.

Went to John's school in London and have been in New York kind of doing -- -- -- on the commercials ever sense and this is the first film I've written and produced just.

I didn't leave -- he's a tough thing I thought I -- -- years and years and years ago my mom is there.

Coming I was -- a TV producers I sort of merge the two became you know -- a journalist that.

I thought at one point not going to acting and I just I -- I took a little detour for maybe like six months of my life.

I just thought this is brutal I mean this this prayer itself is competitive.

But acting -- -- it's like literally every other person that you see in New York City is they want to be an actor.

Why you know what what -- about you don't want it that that means you stay with it.

You -- a lot of luck when you're young.

No you know I didn't start professional acting until after drama school it's really hard any -- we'll tell you -- after it's a -- of rejection it's it's kind of like picking yourself up then and keep going but up.

I've always want to do this since I was like five some a little stubborn and I told my parents going to be theater -- they're like great train.

It can't you see similarities between yourself and the character I didn't look like they absolutely I think.

In everyone's life there's a big dream and an acting as a good example you may wanna be in the Hollywood blockbuster but you're in -- at whatever it may be everybody dreams for something that they may or may not hit.

But that doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing sometimes it's a better path.

What's it been -- -- ultimately do you want to do what's your what's your dream I'd love to act developed produced writing was kind of the means to getting to this but.

I wanna continue acting other people's projects but I definitely want to produce another that was wow what I'm -- thinking that anything I am I am but it's totally -- Why -- Yeah yeah yeah.

That's fine.

He is not a sports column but let us -- as electric as Clinton's I mean you have to have a love story I hang -- thriller love story you know your personal life very much after about the value of your power why -- you -- -- Mary I am married I married my next door neighbor in New York it is a fantastic story nobody -- -- or extranet starting right there next morning I know and I actually didn't like.

-- can have much.

He knows that yeah yeah he's been great -- from Oklahoma and he kept knocking on the door of the cowboys fans are used to hang out how late pats on my door.

We are very happily married and James did not break us up -- -- we get married four and a half years.

Yeah it's tough -- To be married into the unit and the -- acting I don't think it will be very have you little jarring to see -- My boyfriend or husband kissing somebody else I think it's that it's difficult for him.

You know it's part of the business and you always say like it's not pleasurable there are a lot of people around -- -- right romantic about it true.

Yeah.

Sister it'd.

I visited totally totally Lori and I -- hey -- you're getting middle of the -- -- -- I'm okay so again it's at and we can find out anything recently -- on this -- backwards.

Movie the movie -- dot com -- okay.

We're fine thanks for joining hasn't hit a skinny and yeah you'll find out everything you need to know on his website and representatives -- for me I want doesn't inland but -- -- -- -- I'll send an email that I think he's he's lovely.
