Happy Friday -- meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your temperature is up across the northeast 57 is your daytime high.

In Syracuse we actually have cooler drier air.

Just north of a cold front or stationary front that's kind of been parked.

Along the northeast and the mid Atlantic for a few days now you can see the difference between Washington at 81.

And new York at seven.

Over the last twelve hours you can see those showers kind of creeping in -- DC up towards Philly and New York even Boston's if you live in these areas.

And you are traveling today make sure you call -- we also have some storms creeping in across Tennessee and Kentucky.

And the Ohio River valley that's gonna continue throughout the day today.

Future radar shows that system moving -- -- up fairly dry weekend.

Although we can't rule out a shower or two as we head.

Into Saturday and Sunday but all in all not a washed -- you should have a great weekend across the northeast.
