Everybody I'm Dave Briggs here's your -- flashy came from meager beginnings in rural Texas to become an international model who made her way to Hollywood.

Alana Stewart had two high profile marriages to actor George Hamilton.

And rock legend Rod Stewart but she's.

She says there's plenty of heartache and pain underneath all the glamour she joined us earlier to talk about our new memoir.

Well I had always thought I was -- because -- she just always tease me this girl I was -- bombings and will often and then suddenly go to new York and within five minutes I think I'm fat because I was told to lose five pounds the minute I started modeling.

So I I had no I had no real sense of self you know I hadn't.

-- -- that growing up because cigarette there's such a crazy dysfunctional home after I moved out.

From my grandmother.

And so I started to think I was overweight and I became -- make.

You end up marrying George Hamilton who to this day you call a wonderful man and I adore him he's wonderful we call each other -- pop.

I still -- what it my best friends why did you get divorced them.

You know I think we were both young and I was in a very different place and I think IE you know he wanted to -- a more -- life and I still had to kind of I was you know fairly new in Hollywood -- -- Kenneth -- in my eyes and he just wanted to live that very quiet settled life and I didn't and we can improve.

Part so -- I changed quickly yeah I -- at it say you didn't have a -- like -- -- -- married rock star Rod Stewart.

I could play just to stay home at night yeah and that also lasted for what five years -- -- -- almost six years and a cousin religions of the front start now.

The same relationship that -- and I have -- you know it's pretty friendly except when we fight about the kids and money.
